Abstract

Indonesia has significant potential in the blue economy, particularly in the marine and fisheries sector. Desa Ekas Buana, located in Lombok Timur Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, is one of the villages with such potential; however, the local community faces various challenges in optimally utilizing marine resources. To address these issues, a Community Service Program (KKN) conducted by UNRAM students in Desa Ekas Buana aims to enhance community skills through training in the production of fish floss (abon ikan) and business licensing socialization. The fish floss production training focuses on the village women to increase the added value of the abundant marine products. Meanwhile, the business licensing socialization aims to help MSME entrepreneurs understand the importance of business legality, open access to various facilities, and prepare them for wider market opportunities. This program received positive responses from both the community and the village government, demonstrating its success in empowering the community through marine product processing and business legality.

Abstract

Perundungan adalah perilaku tindakan agresif yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan status sosial dan popularitas di kalangan sebayanya. Dampak dari perundungan tidak hanya terlihat secara fisik tetapi juga mempengaruh mental dari korban. Mengingat dampak negatif dari perundungan maka perlu adanya penyampaian informasi yang efektif untuk mencegah perilaku tersebut. Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Mataram berkolaborasi dengan Lembaga Perlindungan Anak Nusa Tenggara Barat untuk mensosialisasikan terkait pencegahan perundungan di lingkunga sekolah dengan Menggunakan media komunikasi visual x-banner. Pelaksanaan magang ini didampingi oleh dosen pembimbing dan Sekertaris LPA NTB. Adapun tahapan pelaksanaan magang dimulai dengan persiapan magang, pelaksanaan magang, dan pelaporan magang. Kegiatan magang ini berlangsung selama 50 hari. Hasil dair kegiatan magang ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang peran humas di lembaga non-pemerintah, pengetahuan tentang perancangan media komunikasi visual x-banner yang menarik dan efekti untuk siswa SMP, serta peningkatan keterampilan di bidang kehumasan. X-banner yang dirancang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan sosialisasi pencegahan perundungan.
