Abstract

Indonesia has significant potential in the blue economy, particularly in the marine and fisheries sector. Desa Ekas Buana, located in Lombok Timur Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, is one of the villages with such potential; however, the local community faces various challenges in optimally utilizing marine resources. To address these issues, a Community Service Program (KKN) conducted by UNRAM students in Desa Ekas Buana aims to enhance community skills through training in the production of fish floss (abon ikan) and business licensing socialization. The fish floss production training focuses on the village women to increase the added value of the abundant marine products. Meanwhile, the business licensing socialization aims to help MSME entrepreneurs understand the importance of business legality, open access to various facilities, and prepare them for wider market opportunities. This program received positive responses from both the community and the village government, demonstrating its success in empowering the community through marine product processing and business legality.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan digital siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Dusun Cendana, Desa Sungai Rengas, Kecamatan Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasari oleh masih rendahnya pemahaman siswa terkait pengelolaan keuangan yang bijak, membedakan kebutuhan dan keinginan, serta kesadaran akan risiko penggunaan layanan keuangan digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Design Thinking yang meliputi tahapan empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, diskusi interaktif, dan penyampaian materi dengan media visual yang disesuaikan dengan jenjang pendidikan. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman siswa pada beberapa indikator, seperti pentingnya menabung, tanggung jawab berutang, dan kewaspadaan terhadap pinjaman daring ilegal. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa sebesar 15%--20% pada indikator utama. Kegiatan ini berhasil menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, menyenangkan, dan relevan dengan kehidupan siswa, sehingga diharapkan mampu membentuk kebiasaan keuangan yang bijak sejak dini.
