Abstract

Lack of iron pregnant women cause anemia so that the supply of oxygen to the fetus is reduced. Sources of iron, among others, are found in the liver of cows, kidneys, poultry, fish, soybeans, shellfish, fruit, egg yolks, wheat juice and sugar syrup. Based on the initial survey conducted January 2023 on 10 respondents in Klantingsari Village, Tarik District, Sidoarjo Regency, it can be concluded that the incidence of constipation in pregnant women. This research is correlation analytic survey research with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all trimester II and III pregnant women who visited the Class of Pregnant Women Klantingsari Village, Tarik District, Sidoarjo Regency in 2023, sampling using the accidental sampling method with the number of 48 respondents. The instrument used was a checklist. The results of the study were tested using the chi squares test. Based on the degree of freedom (df) = 1 with a significance level of 0.05 The results of calculations from the Statistical Test of the chi square obtained p value 0.001 so that the value <α (0.001 <0.05), then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so there is a relationship between regular consumption Fe tablets with constipation in pregnant women. Therefore, it should be balanced with high fiber intake and routine activities to prevent constipation. Keep in mind that the incidence of constipation in second and third trimester pregnant women is not always seen from the regularity of consuming Fe tablets, but there are other factors that support the occurrence of constipation such as physiological factors due to increased levels of progesterone which causes the intestinal peristaltic to be slow, pressure from the uterus an enlarged intestine, lack of activity, etc.

Abstract

The low level of knowledge about pregnancy care is influenced by a lack of information, which has an impact on utilization of KIA books. The aim of this research is to analyze The Effectiveness of Use of Kia Books On Knowledge About Pregnancy Care For Pregnant Women At The Eva Klurak Candi Sidoarjo Maternity Home. This research uses design correlational analytics with approach cross sectional. The population in this study was 40 respondents with a sample size of 36 respondents using the simple random sampling technique. Data collection by using questionnaires. Data analysis uses statistical tests Spearman Rank with a significant level of α = 0.05. The research results showed that of the 36 respondents, almost half of the respondents used KIA books in the high category, as many as 15 respondents (41.7%), most respondents had knowledge about good pregnancy care, as many as 26 respondents (81.2%).Results of data analysis using statistical tests Spearman Rank  The P value obtained was < α 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), which means that the use of KIA books was effective in increasing knowledge about pregnancy care for pregnant women at the Eva Klurak Candi Sidoarjo Maternity Home.The conclusion in this research is that the higher the use of KIA books, the better the knowledge about pregnancy care. The use of KIA books as a source of information and recording medical and is an important communication tool and information medium for health workers, pregnant women and families.

Abstract

The elderly group (elderly) is one of the groups that has a higher risk of being infected with the coronavirus. Victims of infection and death due to Covid-19 are increasing every day. The elderly group is a group that is vulnerable to contracting Covid 19, this is due to a decrease in body immunity,age over 65 years, chronic diseases suffered by the elderly. The increasing number of elderly is one of the challenges to maintaining the independence of the elderly so that they can continue to carry out social activities in continuing to live an active life. This research uses a qualitative descriptive study, which is a research method that utilizes qualitative data and is described in detail. regularly descriptive. This type of qualitative descriptive research is often used to analyze social events, phenomena or situations. Elderly activities at time Before the new normal era, the situation felt very limited due to restrictions on social activities. Several activities were found elderly although limited that is, social activities, religion, health services. After the new normal era of elderly activities at times After the new normal era, the situation feels better because the elderly can do more activities than in the pre-pandemic era. Found some activities Which older people do better, such as social activities, sports, religion, and health services for the elderly. Almost all elderly people do activities which are lacking. By doing regular physical activity you can maintain optimal health. The elderly have a high level of worry or are very worried about facing the Covid-19 pandemic. By carrying out physical activity programs and social and religious activities, people's health will be better.
