The sample was taken using a total sampling technique of 20 respondents. The instrument in this study used the Endorphine Massage Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) sheet and the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) consisting of a scale of 0-10 to describe the intensity of pain experienced by respondents. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference in the pain scores of respondents before and after being given Endorphine Massage with a paired simple t-test obtained a p-value = 0.000. Endorphin massage technique is effective in reducing pain in mothers giving birth during the first active phase at PMB Siti Aisyah, Amd.Keb, Bogor Regency

Abstract

Background: Adolescence is a phase of life between childhood and adulthood, from the age of 10 to 19 years. Based on the results of research conducted on 3000 women by the Archives of Internal Medicine, it was found that 90% of women experience symptoms of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) before the menstrual phase and generally occurs in women aged 14-50 years with symptoms that vary and change in each woman from month to month. Symptoms of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) can be different for each woman, even in the same woman the symptoms that arise can be different each menstrual cycle. Women can only experience 1 symptom of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) or several symptoms at once. According to the theory of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) symptoms that are often experienced by women is lower abdominal pain. Objective: To determine the effect of providing heat tech therapy on adolescents with Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS). Method: This study uses an experimental research design (one group pretest-posttest design). Results: The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed a p-value of 0.004 <0.05, which means that there is an effect of providing heat tech therapy on adolescents with Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS). Conclusion: Heat tech therapy can be used to overcome the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), one of which is to relieve lower abdominal pain.

The design used was a pre-experimental design using aone-group pretest-posttest approach with 30 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Results: The Wilcoxon test showed that hemoglobin levels in pregnant women before and after being given Moringa leaves were p-value 0.001 (p-value <0.05). Conclusion: Therefore, it can be concluded that there was an increase in hemoglobin levels after administering tomato juice to pregnant women in the independent midwife practice of LH Tangerang Regency in 2025.

Abstract

Evaluating the quality of life (QoL) is essential in assessing therapeutic outcomes for individuals with mental health disorders. Medication adherence plays a pivotal role in treatment success but is frequently suboptimal due to insufficient patient knowledge regarding their illness and prescribed therapies, which can lead to misunderstandings and non-compliance. This research investigates the association between patients’ knowledge levels, adherence to medication regimens, and their quality of life within a population diagnosed with mental disorders. Employing a cross-sectional design, data were collected from 200 patients using standardized instruments, including a knowledge assessment questionnaire, the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale-8 (MMAS-8), and the WHO Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF). Statistical analyses, conducted via SPSS version 25.0, utilized Pearson’s correlation and multiple correlation tests to explore relationships among the variables. Findings indicated that 58% of participants possessed adequate knowledge about their condition and treatment, while 52% demonstrated low adherence to medication. Additionally, 61.5% reported a good quality of life. Significant positive correlations were observed between quality of life and both knowledge and medication adherence (P = 0.000). However, no significant direct relationship was found between knowledge and adherence levels. The study underscores that medication adherence is significantly linked to enhanced quality of life in patients with mental disorders. Although knowledge alone does not directly predict adherence, it, in conjunction with adherence, contributes to improved quality of life outcomes. These results emphasize the need for integrated strategies focusing on patient education and adherence promotion to optimize therapeutic benefits.

Abstract

Intervensi berupa pemberian aromaterapi peppermint melalui diffuser selama 15–20 menit setiap hari selama 5 hari berturut-turut.
