<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Latar Belakang Diabetes Mellitus merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis yang sering ditemui dimasyarakat, kendala utama pada penanganan diet Diabetes Mellitus adalah kejenuhan pasien dalam mematuhi terapi diet yang sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai keberhasilan. Pelaksanaan diet Diabetes Mellitus sangat dipengaruhi adanya dukungan dari keluarga. Dukungan keluarga mempunyai peran yang besar dalam perilaku kesehatan di masyarakat diantaranya pelaksanaan diet. Tujuan Untuk Mengetahui hubungan tingkat dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan,  diet penderita Diabetes Militus di Ruang Poliklinik RSI Sunan Kudus.Metode Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien Diabetes Militus yang berobat  diruang Poliklinik RSI Sunan Kudus pada bulan Desember 2018, dengan teknik accidental sampling didapatkan sempel sebanyak 80 responden. Hasil : Hasil penelitian ada hubungan bermakna antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan diet pada penderita DM di Ruang Poliklinik RSI Sunan Kudus didapatkan hasil p value 0,001 (p< 0,05). Kesimpulan : ada Hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan diet DM di Ruang poliklinik RSI Sunan Kudus. Kata Kunci: Dukungan keluarga, Kepatuhan diet DM    ABSTRACT Background : Diabetes Melitus is one of the chronic diseases that are often found in the community, the main obstacle to the handling of the Diabetes Mellitus diet is the saturation of patients in adhering to diet therapy that is very necessary to achieve success. The implementation of the Diabetes Melitus diet is strongly influenced by support from the family. The family support have a big role in health behaviors in the community including the implementation of a diet. The purpose :The purpose of this paper is to find out the relationship the family support with adherence, diets of patients with Diabetes Militus at polyclinic RSI Sunan Kudus. Method :The type of research used in this study is descriptive correlation with the Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study were all Diabetes Militus patients who were treated in the polyclinic room at Sunan Kudus Hospital in desember 2018, with accidental sampling techniques obtained as many as 80 respondents. The Results :The results showed that there was a significant relationship between family support and dietary adherence in DM patients at polyclinic RSI Sunan Kudus. value 0.001 (p <0.05).
