Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the intercultural communication that took place between the ethnic Acehnese and the Minang ethnicity in the ethnic intermarriage that took place in the Johan Pahlawan Subdistrict. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The results show that intercultural communication that has been carried out by both ethnicities has been going on for a long time, Indonesian and Minang languages are the main factors in supporting intercultural communication that occur, then one obstacle in intercultural communication that occurs is custom in ethnic Acehnese marriages.Keywords: Marriage, Minang Ethnicity, Acehnese Ethnicity, Communication, and Interculturalism

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out in depth the role of the LPP-RRI Banda Aceh Mobile Teacher Broadcast program for children with disabilities during the pandemic. The type of research used in this research is descriptive. The sources of this research come from literature studies, journals, and related articles. The results showed that the mobile teacher broadcast program was effective for children with disabilities compared to those who had to study online. Parents feel happy because learning like this is more effective than the online system.Keywords: Mobile teacher, disability, pandemic

Abstract

For 2 years the Numpang-Nampang program has become a special program for young people, especially in Banda Aceh. The ride-hailing program has been implemented since 2019 until now. After seeing the phenomena that occur, the purpose of this study is to find out how the role of the passenger broadcast program LPP-RRI Banda Aceh is. The researcher chose to use a qualitative descriptive analysis technique the type of data used in this study is the interview stage, the interviews conducted are by means of a face to face question and answer process with parties who are considered to understand or understand the problems to be researched. The results of the study indicate that the Numpang-Nampang program is a typical flagship program presented by RRI Pro2 88,4 FM Banda Aceh. The Numpang-Nampang program contains information about the lifestyle of young people. The Numpang-Nampang program with a duration of 120 minutes is the flagship program of Pro2 LPP-RRI Banda Aceh, this program has 3 series of broadcast events, including dialogue sessions, cult broadcasts, evening prayer calls, and music programs. Of course the 3 variants of the show in the Numpang-Nampang hailing program make this program very interesting.Keywords: Role, Program, Broadcast Nampang

Abstract

The Ethnic in Jambo Papan Village, Kluet Tengah District, South Aceh is a combination of Aneuk Jamee culture and Kluet culture. No wonder there is a mixing of the two cultures in society, one of which is in the wedding procession that occurs in a mixed marriage of the two Ethnics. This is the background of the problem in this research. The purpose of this study was to find out the meaning contained in the wedding customs in Jambo Papan Village, Central Kluet, South Aceh. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that there were only four traditions that interfered with Kluet culture in Jambo Papan Village, namely: the meubobo tradition, ridi was berngi or bathing baluluk, night bainai or berngi meukacar and the tradition of murih rice. This is because the residents of Jambo Papan Village have the concept of "where the earth is stepped on, there the sky is upheld". So not all traditions undergo a process of assimilation or mixing of cultures. The values contained in the marriage custom in Jambo Papan Village, Kluet Tengah District, South Aceh Regency, namely the value of da'wah, religion and social.Keywords: Acculturation, Kluet Ethnic, Aneuk Jamee Ethnic, and Marriage Customs.

Abstract

Sikula Geutanyoe is a forum or place for reporting when cases of violence and sexual harassment occur against women in Nagan Raya District. The purpose of this research is to describe the role of Sikula Geutanyoe in socializing the prevention of violence and sexual harassment in Nagan Raya district. The theory used is Radical Feminist theory because it is in accordance with the research objective, namely to fight for women's rights from acts of sexual violence. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in- depth interviews with selected research informants, namely members of Sikula Geutanyoe. The focus of the research is the role and inhibiting factors of Sikula Geutanyoe members in promoting the prevention of violence and sexual harassment against women in Nagan Raya Regency. The results of the study show that Sikula Geutanyoe's role in preventing violence and sexual harassment against women can be seen from the socialization provided to the community regarding sex education. If a victim reports a case of sexual violence to Sikula Geutanyoe, Sikula Geutanyoe's role is to protect the victim in handling the case, to help provide a sense of security, to assist the victim in resolving the case legally and to provide psychological assistance. The occurrence of cases of violence and sexual harassment in Nagan Raya Regency is caused by the large number of women who still lack understanding regarding sex education, do not know how to prevent cases of sexual violence and harassment, and lack of public awareness to report cases of violence and sexual harassment against women. in Nagan Raya Regency.Keywords: Role, Socialization, Violence and Sexual Destruction
