Abstract

The advancement of information technology has had a significant impact on various fields, including education. One area that has been greatly influenced is the teaching of programming algorithms, where technology helps simplify the understanding of fundamental concepts, such as data sorting algorithms. This study focuses on the implementation of the Insertion Sort algorithm using the Flowgorithm application to facilitate the understanding of the data sorting process. Flowgorithm is a software tool that enables the creation of flowcharts to visually represent the steps of an algorithm, which can then be translated into programming languages. The Insertion Sort algorithm was chosen due to its simplicity and its effectiveness in sorting small datasets. This study covers the design and implementation of the algorithm using Flowgorithm, testing with positive integer data, and verifying the correctness of the sorting results through manual calculations. The test results show that the algorithm works correctly, producing the proper sequence from unsorted data. Additionally, the pseudocode generated from the Flowgorithm design can be translated into a programming language like Python. This research contributes to enhancing the understanding of algorithmic concepts, particularly sorting algorithms, by using Flowgorithm as an effective learning tool.

Abstract

Abstract: Marketing digitalization poses a primary challenge for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in rural areas with limited technological literacy. The partner for this community service is Rengginang Bg Ar, a home industry in Batu Bara Regency experiencing revenue stagnation due to conventional marketing patterns and minimal digital knowledge for market expansion. This activity aims to empower the partner through intensive mentoring on business transformation and the application of appropriate technology in the form of an E-Commerce website. The implementation method consists of three chronological stages: socialization of digital urgency, installation of a web-based sales information system, and training on system operation and online order management. The results indicate an increase in the partner's understanding of digital marketing to 90%, compared to the initial condition of only 20%. The partner is now able to manage the online store independently, resulting in the opening of new market access outside the sub-district area and a significant increase in product sales potential. The implementation of a digital market platform proved to be an effective solution for resolving limited market reach and improving the partner's business competence.            Keywords: digitalization; e-commerce; marketing; UMKM; rengginang  Abstrak: Digitalisasi pemasaran menjadi tantangan utama bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) pedesaan yang memiliki keterbatasan literasi teknologi. Mitra pengabdian ini adalah Rengginang Bg Ar, industri rumahan di Kabupaten Batu Bara yang mengalami stagnasi omzet akibat pola pemasaran konvensional dan minimnya pengetahuan digital untuk perluasan pasar. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberdayakan mitra melalui pendampingan intensif transformasi bisnis dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna berupa website E-Commerce. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahapan kronologis: sosialisasi urgensi digital, instalasi sistem informasi penjualan berbasis web, serta pelatihan operasional sistem dan manajemen pesanan daring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mitra terkait pemasaran digital sebesar 90% dari kondisi awal yang hanya 20%. Mitra kini mampu mengelola toko daring secara mandiri, yang berdampak pada terbukanya akses pasar baru di luar wilayah kecamatan serta peningkatan potensi penjualan produk secara signifikan. Implementasi platform pasar digital terbukti menjadi solusi efektif untuk memecahkan masalah keterbatasan jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan kompetensi bisnis mitra. Kata kunci: digitalisasi; e-commerce; pemasaran; UMKM; rengginang

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of multimedia web interface design on the user retention rate on the Google Classroom e-learning platform at Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi (UNPAB). Given the transition of digital learning systems within the campus environment, evaluating user experience becomes crucial for determining future platform standards. The research method used is quantitative with a causal associative approach. The research sample consists of 118 students from the Information Technology Study Program, class of 2022, selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnairs with a Likert Scale and analyzed using simple linear regression via statistical software. The results showed that the interface design variable has a positive and significant effect on user retention with a t count value of 12,653 and a significance value of 0,000 (<0,05). The coefficient of determination (R2) indicates that interface design contributes 58,0% to user retention rate, while the remaining 42,0% is influenced by other factors outside the study. These findings confirm that intuitive and functional multimedia interfaces play a vital role in maintaining the sustainability of user interaction within digital learning management systems.
