Abstract

This investigation aims to explore how Return on Equity (ROE) and Current Ratio affect Capital Structure in manufacturing firms operating in the plantation segment listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis included 21 companies chosen through a purposive sampling method, covering the timeframe from 2021 to 2023. By employing multiple linear regression analysis, it was determined that both ROE and Current Ratio have an effect on Capital Structure, represented by the regression formula Y = 1.081 + 0.914X1 - 0.230X2 + c. The initial t-test results indicate that the ROE variable (X1) does not have a significant impact on Capital Structure, as its t-value of │1.887│ is below the t-table value of │1.999│, and the significance level stands at 0.067 (which exceeds 0.05). Consequently, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is dismissed while the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted. Likewise, the Current Ratio variable (X2) demonstrated no notable impact, highlighted by a t-value of │-1.625│ < │1.999│ and a significance level of 0.113, leading to a similar rejection of Ha and acceptance of Ho. The F-test results illustrate that ROE and Current Ratio do not have a significant combined effect on Capital Structure, with an F-value of │2.185│ falling short of the F-table value of 3.150, in addition to a significance value of 0.127 (greater than 0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that when looked at together, ROE and Current Ratio do not significantly influence Capital Structure. On the other hand, a separate F-test examining Business Risk and Asset Structure revealed a substantial joint effect on Capital Structure, with an F-value of │32.694│ exceeding the F-table value of 3.090, alongside a significance level of 0.000 (which is less than 0.05), hence supporting Ha. Moreover, the coefficient of determination (R²) was calculated at 0.106, indicating that ROE and Current Ratio account for 10.6% of the variation in Capital Structure, while the remaining 89.4% can be attributed to additional factors not examined in this research.

Abstract

This investigation was conducted in the ER at M Natsir Hospital, Solok City. The goal of this research was to find out how substantial the impact of Competency and Work Discipline is on the Performance of ER medical workers at M Natsir Hospital, Solok City. Forty emergency medical staff from M Natsir Hospital in Solok City made up the study's population. The Total sample approach was the sample strategy employed. Questionnaires were employed in the data collection method. The performance of medical staff (Y) is influenced by the Competency (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) variables, according to multiple regression analysis. Y = 8.259 + 0.904 X1 + 0.125 is the multiple linear regression equation that was produced. The variables Competency (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) show significance according to the t-test

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of work enhancement and employee benefits on job satisfaction among personnel at RSUD Arosuka. The concern arose from the hospital's choice to reduce the number of daily contract workers, leading to increased workloads and heightened job complexity. By employing a quantitative survey approach, this research collected data from a sample of 60 contract employees at RSUD Arosuka, selected using a Simple Random Sampling technique. The analysis utilized multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests (including normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity), as well as hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The findings indicate that the Work Improvement variable (X1) does not significantly influence Job Satisfaction (Y) on an individual basis, as shown by a t-count value less than the t-table (0.509 < 1.672) and a significance value exceeding 0.05 (0.613 > 0.05). In contrast, the Employee Welfare variable (X2) reveals a significant individual effect on Job Satisfaction (Y), with a t-count value greater than the t-table (2.348 > 1.672) and a significance value lower than 0.05 (0.022 < 0.05). Nevertheless, when both Work Improvement (X1) and Employee Welfare (X2) are assessed together, they considerably affect Job Satisfaction (Y), as demonstrated by an F-count value exceeding the F-table (4.589 > 3.156) and a significance value below 0.05 (0.014 < 0.05).
