Abstract

Electricity has a very vital role in human life, being a form of energy that is inseparable from various aspects of daily activities. The greater the use of electricity will have an impact on increasing the cost of electricity use. By applying fuzzy logic methods, research focuses on understanding the efficiency of electrical power use, identifying key factors that affect efficiency at the household level. This study aims to apply the Mamdani method in fuzzy logic to predict the cost of electricity consumption and measure the level of accuracy of the implementation of fuzzy logic. The variables used as the basis of the study involved house size, electronic equipment, electrical power, economic income, and electricity usage cost. The implementation of this research will use Matlab software because it provides various tools for the Mamdani method. The results of the implementation of fuzzy logic with the Mamdani method for the example case analyzed in obtaining electricity usage cost that needs to be paid is Rp. 455,500. Thus, these results indicate that the Mamdani method in fuzzy logic is effectively used to predict electricity usage cost in Leuwimekar Village, Bogor City.

Abstract

This research aims to design the user interface of the HewanKu application using the User Centered Design (UCD) method, in order to improve user experience in buying and selling livestock transactions. UCD is applied to ensure that the design of the application interface is in accordance with user needs and preferences. The research method involves the stages of user needs analysis, design, prototype testing, and design iteration based on user feedback. Application testing was conducted using a Black Box Testing approach to ensure that the application functions according to specifications without navigation errors or feature failures. The results showed that the application of UCD succeeded in producing a more intuitive and efficient interface, as well as increasing user trust and satisfaction in transactions. The conclusion of this research is that the combination of UCD and Black Box Testing is effective in creating an application that is easier to use and reliable to support livestock buying and selling transactions. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the application of the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach in designing the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the CarbonArea website, which provides information on the impact of carbon dioxide (CO2) on food security. The research methodology included interviews with potential users, a literature review, as well as iterative stages of UCD, including understanding the context of use, identifying user needs, designing a solution, and conducting a design evaluation. The interview results revealed that users wanted interactive features such as maps and graphs for real-time monitoring of CO2 levels. The application of UCD proved effective in creating a design that meets user needs, while improving user experience and website attractiveness.
