Abstract

Osi Island is included in the leading tourist destinations of Western Seram Regency. The island has a major attraction, namely a mangrove forest along a wooden bridge with a length of 1,300 meters. The problems in this study are that there is no clean water, some facilities are not good, access in ecotourism areas such as bridges and trails are starting to have holes. The purpose of this study is to determine the existing condition of mangrove ecotourism, as well as to analyze the value of suitability and carrying capacity of mangrove ecotourism areas. This study uses descriptive analysis methods, visitor perception analysis, suitability analysis and area carrying capacity analysis. The results obtained are that the existing condition of the Osi Island mangrove forest ecotourism has cool forest conditions along the bridge and clean sea views, but the access (trails and bridges) to Osi Island is still damaged and there are supporting facilities and infrastructure that are already available. The total score of the results of the mangrove ecotourism condition of Osi Island is included in the S2 category (Appropriate), with a total score of 68 and a tourism suitability index of 78%, meaning that it can be used for ecotourism activities and the carrying capacity of the mangrove ecotourism area on Osi Island is 409 people per day

Abstract

Negeri Lima is one of the countries in Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency which has an area of 19 km2. On July 13, 2012, there was a mountain avalanche in Negeri Lima due to heavy rain that resulted in the closure of the river which resulted in the construction of the dam. A year later, the dam broke, and the water went directly towards the residents' settlements, destroying part of the residents' houses and infrastructure in Negeri Lima. Seeing the conditions as described, the fact of this research is how the direction of the development of residential areas in Negeri Lima, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency. This study aims to find out the direction of the development of residential areas in Negeri Lima, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency. The variables used in this study are related to the number of populations, the tragedy of the collapse of the Wae Ela Dam and changes in the location of residents' settlements. The analysis used in this study is by using two analyses, namely qualitative descriptive analysis, and spatial analysis (overlay). The results of data analysis show that settlements in Negeri Lima develop to the south and north of the country whose settlements are built following access to highways and coastal routes. But in the southern part of the country, settlement construction has a higher intensity. This is because many people whose houses were destroyed have land owned/inherited at that location

Abstract

Sanleko Village is one of the villages in Namlea District, Buru Regency, Sanleko Village has mangrove potential on its coastline covering an area of 16.21 Ha. Judging from the current tourism conditions in the field, it is very minimal in terms of the development of tourism activities. The role of the community in the development of tourism has not been maximized from the access to bridges in mangroves that have been broken and potholes, the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support tourism. This study aims to determine the suitability of ecotourism-based mangrove forest tourism areas in Sanleko Village, Buru Regency. This study uses descriptive analysis methods and regional suitability analysis. The result obtained is that the conditions for mangrove forest tourism in Sanleko Village have beauty in the mangrove forest, in addition to that in front of the mangrove tourism there is a long sand beach. However, facilities and infrastructure such as roads made of wood and bamboo as bridges in mangrove tourism are not suitable for use. The total score results showed that the IKW values at observation stations 1.2, and 3 were 81.16%, 81.16% and 73.91%, respectively, and belonged to the S1 category (Very Appropriate). Which means that Sanleko Village mangrove tourism can be developed as Mangrove Ecotourism
