Abstract

A balance sheet is one of the most important documents in the business world, showing the financial condition of a company at a specific point in time. This article explains how a balance sheet can be a useful tool for evaluating and developing a shipping agency business. By understanding the key components of a balance sheet, such as assets, liabilities, and owner's equity, shipping agencies can identify their financial strengths and weaknesses. Balance sheet analysis helps in making better decisions, enabling entrepreneurs to plan strategic steps and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the balance sheet plays a role in attracting investors who wish to invest their funds.
