Abstract

This community service program was designed to enhance the inventory management skills of santri at Pesantren Assyifa through the use of spreadsheet technology. Many pesantren-based business units still rely on manual inventory methods, leading to inefficiencies, stock errors, and operational delays. To address this issue, a structured training program was conducted involving 25 selected santri actively engaged in the pesantren’s economic units. The program consisted of three interactive sessions covering basic inventory concepts, spreadsheet functions, and hands-on design of inventory tracking systems. Using tools like Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, participants were guided to create real-time stock records, calculate inventory movement, and generate reports. The success of the training was measured through pre- and post-tests, spreadsheet project submissions, and participant feedback surveys. The results showed a 68% average increase in test scores, a 96% project completion rate, and a 4.6/5 satisfaction score. Additionally, 84% of participants applied the system directly within pesantren business units. Feedback from participants indicated high engagement, practical usefulness, and a strong desire for follow-up training. This initiative demonstrated the effectiveness of integrating digital tools into pesantren education, contributing to the development of digitally literate and economically empowered santri.

Abstract

Ethical decision-making in educational leadership is a critical aspect of ensuring effective governance and fostering a positive school climate. Insights drawn from Islamic scholars provide valuable perspectives on moral principles that guide leaders in educational settings. This study explores the ethical considerations and decision-making processes influenced by Islamic teachings among educational leaders. This research aims to investigate how Islamic scholars' insights inform ethical decision-making practices in educational leadership. It seeks to analyze the ethical frameworks advocated by Islamic teachings and their application in contemporary educational contexts. This study employs a literature review approach to examine scholarly articles, books, and Islamic texts that discuss ethical principles relevant to educational leadership. The research focuses on synthesizing and analyzing existing literature to identify key themes, principles, and practices advocated by Islamic scholars in guiding ethical decision-making among school leaders. The findings highlight that Islamic scholars emphasize principles such as justice (adl), compassion (rahma), honesty (sidq), and accountability (mas'uliyyah) as foundational to ethical leadership in education. Ethical decision-making processes are guided by Islamic teachings that prioritize the well-being of stakeholders, fairness in decision outcomes, and adherence to ethical norms. Insights from Islamic scholars offer nuanced perspectives that enrich contemporary discussions on ethical leadership and governance in educational settings

Abstract

The rapid expansion of educational technology (EdTech) startups has revealed a critical need for strategic innovation management models tailored to the unique demands of education. Existing innovation frameworks, largely developed for general business environments, often neglect pedagogical principles and the complexity of curriculum alignment. This study emphasizes the urgent need to develop a comprehensive model that integrates design thinking, curriculum theory, stakeholder co-creation, and responsible innovation. Such a framework aims to help EdTech startups create adaptable, scalable, and pedagogically sound solutions that address diverse learner needs and institutional contexts. By bridging the gap between business innovation and educational effectiveness, this research contributes valuable insights toward sustainable EdTech development and improved educational outcomes.
