Abstract

Pertumbuhan industri telah berkontribusi pada masalah lingkungan karena menghasilkan limbah cair atau padat sebagai produk sekunder setelah pemrosesan industri salah satunya limbah logam berat yang telah menjadi ancaman bagi dunia. Logam berat dapat menyebabkan efek toksik yang lebih serius, termasuk kanker, kerusakan otak, atau kematian, dan dapat merusak lingkungan. Besi adalah varian dari logam berat padat dan beracun yang ditemukan dalam kelompok IVA, terutama berbahaya saat tertelan oleh organisme hidup, terutama spesies manusia. Zat logam ini memiliki kecenderungan untuk menumpuk di dalam ekosistem, dan penghapusannya melalui cara biologis terbukti sangat menantang.  Salah satu metode yang bisa digunakan adalah biosorpsi dengan mengggunakan biji buah matoa (Pometia Pinnata)  sebagai adsorben. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan biji matoa (Pometia Pinnata) dalam mengurangi kandungan Logam besi didalam sampel. Metode biosorpsi yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini secara batch. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah tidak terlihat pengaruh yang signifikan perubahan warna pada air tanah sebelum dan dikontakkan dengan biosorben dari biji matoa. Pada penentuan pHpzc yaitu pada pH 4 dengan waktu kontak optimum 60 menit dan dosis sampel 0,1 g serta kecepatan pengadukan 200 rpm Dimana kecepatan pengadukan sangat mempengaruhi kemampuan daya serap adsorben dengan kapasitas adsorpsi 0,341 mg/L.  Biji buah matoa memiliki kemampuan dalam mengurangi kandungan logam berat Fe didalam air tanah.

Abstract

The development of technology in the field of education requires innovation in the development of learning media that are not only print-based but also able to integrate pedagogical and technological aspects. However, many printed learning media are less than optimal in supporting digital learning. Therefore, this study aims to describe the validity value of the TPACK integrated vertebrate zoology booklet as an innovative learning media that supports the integration of technology in biology education. This type of research uses the Plomp development model which consists of three stages, namely preliminary research, prototype making, and assessment. The preliminary research stage has been carried out in previous studies, and in this follow-up study only the prototype making stage was carried out. The assessment stage will be carried out in the next survey. Validation was carried out by three expert validators, namely media experts, material experts, and learning experts. The validation results from media experts, material experts, and learning experts for this learning media are included in the valid and feasible category. In conclusion, the TPACK integrated vertebrate zoology booklet is feasible to use in learning. It is recommended to conduct further research to test the effectiveness and practicality of this TPACK integrated vertebrate zoology booklet in improving various competencies in students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe data from the preliminary research stage as a basis for developing a Vertebrate Zoology booklet integrated with the TPACK approach. This research uses a development method with the Plomp model, which only focuses on the first stage, namely the preliminary research phase. The research sample consisted of 90 Biology Education students, FKIP UIR. The instruments used include RPS analysis sheets, interview sheets, observation sheets, and questionnaires to identify student problems and needs. The research results showed that from the RPS analysis, eight main topics were studied, and 8.88% of respondents stated that there were no Vertebrate Zoology learning media based on specific approaches, methods, or learning models. In addition, based on the results of the needs questionnaire, 100% of students expressed support for the developing Vertebrate Zoology booklet integrated with TPACK. Based on the data obtained at the preliminary research stage, it can be concluded that the development of a TPACK-based Vertebrate Zoology booklet needs to be carried out to increase learning effectiveness.
