Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of songs in facilitating memorization for early childhood students at KB Karya Bersama, Pacitan Regency. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation and interviews with teachers.The results of the study show that the use of songs effectively enhances the memorization abilities of young children. Songs with simple melodies and repetitive lyrics help children remember material more easily compared to conventional methods. In addition, songs create a fun learning atmosphere, improve focus, and motivate children to learn without feeling burdened. Teachers also experience the benefits of this method in increasing students' active participation during lessons. However, selecting songs that are appropriate for the children’s age and learning material is a key factor in the success of this method. Recommendations for future research include developing a wider variety of songs, integrating technology into song-based learning, and testing the effectiveness of this method on larger and more diverse groups of children. In conclusion, songs are an effective strategy for improving memory in early childhood, and thus can become an integral part of learning methods at the early childhood education level.
