Abstract

Adolescence is a vulnerable period because many problems arise, especially those related to sexual well-being and conception, as a result of the development of reproductive hormones. Physical, mental, and scientific development and improvement occur rapidly in youth. One of the things that has an impact on reproductive health is early marriage; early marriage is marriage at a young age. The ideal age for marriage for women is 21 years, and for men, it is 25 years. BKKBN recommends this age to reduce the risk of early marriage, which can have a negative psychological impact on the prospective bride and groom. Based on data and interviews, the proposing team will carry out community service through empowerment-based activities aimed at increasing teenagers' knowledge about reproductive health and early marriage. The method used is through socialization and education. Then provide leaflets and PowerPoint as media material. The results of the outreach on reproductive health and early marriage at the Kesumadadi Community Health Center show that this activity has had a positive impact on increasing teenagers' knowledge and awareness about reproductive health and early marriage. This can be seen from the results of the average correct answer in the pretest of 46% and posttest of 88%, with an average increase of 42%. So it can be concluded that there was an increase in knowledge before and after being given socialization.
