Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata Bahasa Inggris anak melalui kegiatan game flash card. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK B Tunas melati Rejang Lebong dengan jumlah 15 anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, yaitu siklus pertama dan siklus kedua. Data yang dikumpulkan mencakup observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi terhadap aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, serta pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media flashcard. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada kedua siklus, diperoleh temuan bahwa adanya peningkatan kosakata dalam penggunaan game flash card hal ini dapat ditunjukkan dari hasil kegiatan setelah perlakuan penggunaan flash card dengan masing-masing kategori sebagai berikut: kategori sangat rendah mendapat skor sebesar 2,67%, kategori rendah mendapat skor sebesar 4,00%, kategori cukup mendapat skor sebesar 8%, kategori baik mendapat skor sebesar 14,67% dan kategori sangat baik mendapat skor sebesar 70,67%. Hal tersebut menunjukan adanya peningkatan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak usia dini setelah penggunaan flash card.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the multicultural values instilled in the millennial generation in Ma'had Aljamiah, this research is motivated by the degradation of national morality values that are really concerning and multicultural problems that cause conflict prone to changes caused by radical elements in the millennial generation. This type of research is qualitative research research with a descriptive approach, the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the strengthening of multicultural values in Mahad Al Jamiah to instill the character of students has been realized through a moral knowing approach. Every night Monday to Thursday, students learn to recite, Friday is filled with yasinan, and the mauizotul hasanah program is implemented. Ustadz and ustadzah alternately delivered material on Islamic creeds, morals, morals, and laws. Saturday night is filled with muhadoroh activities for self-development. Strengthening through moral feeling is applied by instilling a sense of empathy and mutual help among students. Strengthening through moral action is reflected in the obligation of congregational prayer and discipline in Mahad Al Jamiah IAIN Curup. Factors supporting the strengthening of multicultural values of the millennial generation in Mahad Al Jamiah IAIN Curup are influenced by the students themselves, the support of ustadz/ustadzah, seniors, ma'had administrators, dorm friends, and various activities. However, inhibiting factors can arise from the students themselves.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the varying levels of students’ self-regulated learning and social skills. Self-regulated learning refers to students’ independence in managing, monitoring, and evaluating their learning processes, which is closely related to their ability to interact, cooperate, and adapt within the school environment. This research aims to: (1) determine the level of self-regulated learning of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 7 Rejang Lebong, (2) identify the level of students’ social skills, and (3) to determine the relationship between self-regulated learning and social skills. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population consisted of all sixth-grade students of SD Negeri 7 Rejang Lebong, totaling 50 students, and total sampling technique was used. Data were collected using questionnaires with Likert scale instruments. Instrument validity was tested using the Product Moment formula, while reliability was tested using Cronbach Alpha, resulting in coefficients of 0.713 for self-regulated learning and 0.788 for social skills. Data analysis used Product Moment correlation. The results showed that: (1) students’ self-regulated learning was in the good category, (2) students’ social skills were also in the good category, and (3) there was a significant positive relationship between self-regulated learning and social skills with a correlation value of 0.866, which is higher than r table (0.278). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between self-regulated learning and students’ social skills.
