Abstract

In order to accommodate students' varied cultural backgrounds and improve their educational experiences, culturally responsive teaching, or CRT, must be incorporated into science instruction. This study used a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) as its research method, following the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) standards. In order to investigate the connection between science concepts and West Java culture, this process entails “identification, screening, and included” of pertinent literature. It follows methodical and open procedures to guarantee the validity and reliability of the results. The findings of the analysis show that seventh, eighth, and ninth graders' science concepts are strongly tied to West Java cultural elements, such as traditional musical instruments, traditional sports, traditional foods, traditional dances, folk entertainment, and agricultural practices. This integration of local culture into the science curriculum enhances students' understanding and respect of their heritage while also making the learning environment more engaging.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan tentang manajemen program kelas unggulan di SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI yang memainkan peran penting dalam peningkatan mutu, efisiensi dan efektifitas, dan relevansi pendidikan. Kelas unggulan di SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI menawarkan kesempatan kepada peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan akademik dan bakat khusus untuk memaksimalkan potensi mereka. Fungsi manajemen program dilaksanakan yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Implikasi manajemen program kelas unggulan di SMP Laboratorium UPI dapat meningkatkan reputasi sekolah, menarik buat orang tua dan peserta didik yang berprestasi.

Abstract

Tujuan studi ini adalah guna mengetahui dampak motivasi kerja pada kinerja guru serta pengaruhnya terhadap standar pengajaran di SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Riset ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sebanyak 169 siswa SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI menjadi responden penelitian, dengan teknik pemilihan sampel proporsional stratified random sampling. Metode analisis data yang diterapkan ialah analisis jalur. Motivasi kerja berdampak positif serta bermakna pada kinerja guru, yang selanjutnya berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu pembelajaran. Temuan studi ini juga menerangkan¬ bahwa motivasi kerja berdampak positif serta bermakna pada kinerja guru, yang selanjutnya berdampak positif serta bermakna terhadap mutu pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil studi, motivasi kerja berperan fundamental¬¬ dalam meningkatkan efektivitas guru, yang selanjutnya berdampak pada mutu pembelajaran. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar pihak sekolah lebih mengutamakan motivasi kerja dalam pengembangan sekolah. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan perspektif yang bermanfaat bagi pengelola pendidikan untuk mendorong pengembangan pembelajaran yang bermutu, khususnya di SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI.
