Abstract

Background. Turkey hosts one of the world’s largest populations of refugee children, yet multicultural education within Turkish public schools remains underdeveloped and inconsistently implemented. Refugee students often navigate classrooms marked by linguistic barriers, cultural misrecognition, and limited curricular representation. Purpose. This study explores how refugee students’ personal narratives can inform and enrich multicultural education practices in Turkish classrooms. Drawing on a qualitative narrative research design, the study engaged 18 refugee students from Syrian, Afghan, and Iraqi backgrounds across five urban public schools. Method. Data were collected through narrative interviews and classroom observations, then analyzed thematically to uncover how students perceive their identities, educational experiences, and interactions with peers and teachers. Results. Findings reveal that refugee students’ stories reflect both resilience and marginalization, highlighting gaps in teacher preparedness, inclusive pedagogy, and culturally responsive curriculum. At the same time, narratives uncovered opportunities for empathy, cross-cultural dialogue, and identity affirmation when student voices were acknowledged in meaningful ways.   Conclusion. The study concludes that integrating refugee narratives into classroom discourse can serve as a transformative tool for multicultural education, fostering more inclusive and humanizing pedagogical environments.

Abstract

The background of this research is driven by the rapid development of quantum computing which has the potential to change the paradigm in complexity theory and computational algorithms. The purpose of this study is to explore the advantages and limitations of quantum algorithms in solving problems with high complexity, as well as to understand their role in complexity theory. The research method used involves quantum computer simulations to analyze the performance of Shor and Grover's algorithms in solving cryptographic problems and large database searches, as well as comparing them with classical algorithms. The results show that quantum algorithms have significant advantages in solving certain problems, although there are technical obstacles in quantum hardware that affect overall performance. Quantum computing has great potential in the fields of cryptography and big data processing, but challenges such as quantum errors and decoherence still have to be overcome. The conclusion of this study confirms the importance of further research in improving quantum hardware and developing more efficient algorithms, as well as opening up new opportunities for the application of quantum computing in various industries.

Abstract

Background. Fictional narratives have long functioned as a medium of social critique, articulating moral discourse and shaping collective consciousness within changing social contexts. In contemporary societies marked by ethical uncertainty, ideological polarization, and social transformation, literature increasingly engages with questions of moral responsibility, social values, and communal identity, positioning fiction as a reflective and critical social practice. Purpose. This study aims to examine how fictional narratives construct moral discourse and contribute to the formation of collective consciousness, highlighting literature’s role in critiquing social norms and ethical frameworks. Method. The study employs a qualitative interpretative approach through thematic and narrative analysis, drawing on moral philosophy and cultural theory. Selected fictional texts from diverse sociocultural contexts are analyzed using close reading to identify moral themes, narrative strategies, and representations of collective values. Results. The findings reveal that fictional narratives articulate moral discourse through character dilemmas, symbolic conflicts, and narrative judgment, enabling readers to engage critically with social norms. Literature fosters collective consciousness by transforming individual moral struggles into shared ethical reflection, thereby linking personal experience with broader social concerns. Conclusion. This study concludes that fiction functions as an influential form of social critique by mediating moral discourse and cultivating collective consciousness, affirming literature’s enduring relevance in ethical and social inquiry.

Abstract

Water management and conservation are critical challenges in the modern world, especially in regions facing water scarcity. Prophetic traditions provide valuable insights into sustainable water use, emphasizing conservation, moderation, and respect for natural resources. These traditions have long guided practices that promote efficient water management, which is increasingly relevant in the context of contemporary environmental challenges. This research aims to explore how the principles derived from prophetic traditions can inform engineering models for sustainable water use. The study utilizes a multidisciplinary approach, combining historical insights from Islamic teachings with modern engineering techniques to develop a model for efficient water management and conservation. Through case studies, qualitative analysis, and design simulations, this research evaluates the application of prophetic water conservation methods in modern water systems. The results demonstrate that integrating these practices, such as limiting water wastage, using water-efficient technologies, and promoting communal responsibility, can significantly enhance water conservation efforts in both urban and rural settings. The study concludes that a sustainable water management model inspired by prophetic traditions can effectively address current water scarcity issues while preserving ecological balance and fostering community awareness.
