Abstract

Religious education in early childhood is an essential guide for getting closer to Allah and behaving according to the social norms that are in place. Dhuha prayer habits is performed every morning at Aditya Playgroup, Karawang. However, in implementation, some children are not yet stable and consistent so they still need teacher guidance. This research aims to describe early childhood Dhuha prayer habits in early childhood education units. This research was conducted using qualitative phenomenological methods. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. There were 4 informants consisting of the principal, class teacher and parents. The research results showed that of the 23 children who were accustomed to Dhuha prayer activities, 21 were accustomed to performing Dhuha prayers at school and at home. The Dhuha prayer habituation activities at Aditya Playgroup are following the Dhuha prayer procedures. Children also learn the procedures for ablution by singing ablution claps. Children can also master reading and praying the Dhuha prayer without memorizing, so getting used to the Dhuha prayer can be said to be successful in building good habits in children.

Abstract

Teachers are the implementers of the teaching and learning process in the classroom, the success of their teaching is largely determined by their performance. Good teacher performance has several indicators, including mastery of the material, selection of teaching methods, interaction with students, evaluation, self-development, discipline, classroom management and parental involvement. The purpose of this research is an effort to improve teacher performance at TKQ Binaul Iman. This is deemed very necessary because teacher performance at the institution is not optimal. A comparative study activity to the driving school is one of the activities attempted by the school to increase motivation and abilities so that teacher performance can be improved. The research method chosen is qualitative by describing the results of research findings at the two driving schools that are the targets of the comparative study. The comparative study activity provides a place for direct observation by seeing good practices in classroom learning, becoming a means to discuss obstacles in classroom learning. With the comparative study activity to the driving school is felt to increase the motivation of TKQ Binaul Iman teachers in improving teaching skills in the classroom, can absorb good practices that can be adopted and then applied to the institution so that development achievements can be achieved, student abilities increase, and public trust begins to grow. In efforts to improve teacher performance, there are several factors that influence performance, namely motivation and commitment, ability and competence, work environment, and support from schools and the government.

Abstract

The low level of discipline among children serves as the background for this study. The children were unable to follow classroom rules, such as leaving their seats without permission, joking during prayer, and not participating in learning activities in an orderly manner. The aim of this study is to improve the discipline of children aged 5–6 years at PAUD Assalafiyah Banyusari by using gand puppets as media. This study employed a classroom action research model by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques included interviews, documentation, and observation, while data analysis was conducted using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that the use of hand puppet media was effective in improving children's discipline. Prior to the intervention, the level of discipline was 32.5%, categorized as Emerging (MB). After the first cycle, the discipline level increased to 56%, categorized as Developing as Expected (BSH). In the second cycle, it further increased to 82%, categorized as Very Well Developed (BSB). Based on the final score, the research was declared successful, having met the minimum mastery criteria of 80%.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat desa dalam sistem pertolongan pertama guna mengoptimalkan penanganan awal kejadian darurat dan kecelakaan di lingkungan sekitar. Kegiatan ini meliputi pelatihan praktik pertolongan pertama yang melibatkan warga desa, petugas desa, dan tokoh masyarakat sebagai peserta. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian yakni dengan 3 (tiga) tahapan yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam melakukan pertolongan pertama, yang ditandai dengan keberhasilan mereka dalam menyelesaikan simulasi dan kemampuan menerapkan prosedur dengan percaya diri. Program ini diharapkan mampu memperkuat sistem penanganan darurat di tingkat desa, meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pertolongan pertama, serta menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman dan siap siaga menghadapi berbagai kejadian darurat.
