Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dan strategi guru di UPT SPF SD se-Kompleks Bawakaraeng, peran guru dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan serta faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat peran guru dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di UPT SPF SD Bawakaraeng. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian lapangan (field research). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UPT SPF SD se-Kompleks Bawakaraeng Kecamatan Makassar Kota Makassar. Waktu penelitian dilakukan selama 3 bulan yaitu pada bulan Oktober hingga Desember 2023. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) Dalam konteks UPT SPF SD se-Kompleks Bawakaraeng, guru diakui memiliki peran integral dalam membentuk karakter, memberikan pembelajaran, dan mendukung perkembangan siswa. Selain itu pendekatan kolaboratif dan dukungan antar. Keberhasilan mutu pendidikan di UPT SPF SD se-Kompleks Bawakaraeng juga tergantung pada partisipasi aktif guru dalam pengambilan keputusan dan perencanaan strategis. (2) Langkah-langkah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan melalui supervisi akademik dan manajerial yang sistematis. Kepala sekolah aktif dalam memantau aspek manajemen akademik dan administrasi, dengan fokus pada peningkatan profesionalisme guru, perbaikan fasilitas, dan hubungan dengan wali siswa. Kolaborasi antar berbagai pihak, seperti komite sekolah dan orang tua siswa. (3) Faktor pendukung antara lain kegiatan pengembangan diri, kerjasama antar guru, dan partisipasi orang tua serta masyarakat, Faktor Penghambat antara lain kurangnya waktu bagi guru serta motivasi karya yang rendah. This study aims to determine the role and strategy of teachers in UPT SPF SD se-Kompleks Bawakaraeng, the role of teachers in improving the quality of education as well as supporting and inhibiting factors of teachers' roles in improving the quality of education at UPT SPF SD Bawakaraeng.
