Abstract

In the current era of technology, educators as educational subjects have very important functions and duties for the current generation, or what is usually called generation Z. Educators are role models and mentors who always lead to goodness and obedience to Allah. The ideal educator is an educator who is able to imitate and follow the teaching pattern of the Prophet as an educator. In Surah An-Nahl verses 43 and 44, it is explained that people who do not know something should ask an expert (ahlu dzikr), and it was revealed to Rasulullah ad-dzikr (al-Quran) to convey to humans what has been commanded so that humans think. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a library research method by looking for related sources such as books, articles, readings and so on. The application of Surah An-Nahl 43-44 to the role of educators is that they must be a source of knowledge or ahlu dzikr, must understand the main duties, functions and roles, must make the Messenger of Allah a role model, educators must be able to understand and practice the Al-Quran, and educators are a source of knowledge for students which includes words, actions and attitudes. The urgency of this discussion is to increase knowledge in the treasures of Islamic education from the perspective of the Al-Quran regarding ideal educators for the current generation Z.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of philosophical figures, namely the thought of ibnu miskawaih from biography, the concept of akhaq education thought, and its relevance in contemporary, Education is an important part of human life that can never be abandoned, education is an effort made by someone in order to change towards the better. Ibn Miskawaih is one of the Islamic philosophical figures who contributed thoughts to education. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research with data sources based on literature studies. The results showed that the concept of moral education Ibn Miskawaih argues that the basic concept of akhlaq education is based on the doctrine of al-wasath or the middle way balanced between two extremes and harmony. However, he is more inclined to the definition of balance between extremes of deficiency and extremes of excess is the virtue of morals. the concept of education is very relevant to this education system which includes physical education, mental education and skills education in a unified whole, with moral ties

Abstract

This study aims to implement the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in grade V of Lempuyangwangi State Elementary School, Yogyakarta. The Merdeka Belajar Curriculum is implemented as a solution to the learning crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to answer the needs of education in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview and observation methods, involving PAI teachers as the main subjects of the study. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in Lempuyangwangi State Elementary School has been carried out in stages, starting from grades I and IV, with intensive training for teachers to understand curriculum concepts, prepare learning tools, and implement the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). This curriculum has a positive impact, such as increasing student involvement in more relevant, interactive, and project-based learning, as well as facilitating the exploration of student interests and talents. However, there are significant challenges in its implementation, such as limited facilities, time preparation, and a learning paradigm that must shift from being teacher-focused to student-focused. To overcome these challenges, the school provides ongoing training, additional learning resources, and collaboration between teachers. This study confirms that the Independent Learning Curriculum has great potential in creating a learning atmosphere that is more independent, innovative, and in accordance with today's educational needs.
