Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami proses pemulihan luka batin anak korban kekerasan fisik dan psikis oleh ibu kandung, melalui pendekatan pastoral konseling. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam terhadap seorang anak di Lorong Air Hidup, Desa Tateli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak mengalami berbagai dampak psikologis seperti rasa takut, rendah diri, kesulitan komunikasi, trauma emosional, hingga hampir kehilangan makna spiritual. Pendekatan pastoral konseling yang bersifat relasional, empatik, dan spiritual terbukti membantu dalam proses penyembuhan batin anak. Pendekatan ini memberikan rasa aman, ruang ekspresi, serta memulihkan relasi anak dengan Tuhan dan dirinya sendiri. Analisis menggunakan teori trauma psikologis anak dari Judith Herman dan perspektif teologi pastoral dari Howard Clinebell menunjukkan bahwa pemulihan trauma tidak hanya membutuhkan intervensi psikologis, tetapi juga penyembuhan spiritual yang holistik. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya konseling pastoral sebagai pendekatan integratif dalam penanganan anak korban kekerasan, serta perlunya kolaborasi lintas sektor untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan mendukung tumbuh kembang anak secara utuh.

Abstract

Abstract Child abuse is an essential element in psychological recovery after sexual abuse. The study aims to review the role of counseling pastoral counseling in building signs of sexual abuse in uptd-ppa province of north sulawesi. The pastoral counseling approach creates a safe environment and provides emotional support for the victimized children, focusing on the restoration of their spiritual, emotional, and social aspects. Through guidance based on religious values, victims gain a better understanding of themselves and the strength to overcome trauma. The study involves a qualitative approach. Research shows that pastoral counseling interventions greatly contribute to raising children's self-esteem, alleviating anxiety, and building the necessary social skills to interact in society. Awakening consequences also help children overcome trauma and improve their quality of life. Thus, pastoral counseling plays a key role in the recovery of victims of sexual violence, emphasizing social and spiritual support on their journey of healing.

Abstract

Some of the objectives of this study include finding out how the pastoral counseling program for recidivists in prisons is, finding out how the challenges and efforts are in handling pastoral counseling for recidivists in prisons through a client-centered approach, and finding out how effective the client-centered approach is in supporting rehabilitation for recidivists in Amurang prison. Based on the results of the client-centered therapy approach study for recidivists in Amurang prison, it was found that the client-centered approach has proven effective in supporting rehabilitation for recidivists in Amurang prison. This can be seen from the increase in self-confidence, self-acceptance, reduction of stigma, and increased self-awareness of recidivists. In this study, the researcher used qualitative research using a case study approach. This method is carried out with the aim of digging up in-depth information on the research subjects through observation, interviews, as well as pastoral counseling.
