Abstract

Seiring perkembangan zaman, penggunaan kata “hijrah” mengalami perubahan makna dan maksud yang berbeda-beda. Perbedaan pemaknaan itu sejatinya dilatarbelakangi oleh konteks yang melingkarinya. Beragam pemaknaan kata hijrah, ditambah dengan munculnya gerakan hijrah yang beberapa tahun terakhir menjadi tren di kalangan anak muda, sering disalahpahami oleh masyarakat, terlebih di era pasca kebenaran (post truth). Atas dasar itu, penelitian ini mengangkat dua problem: Pertama, bagaimana penggunaan kata “hijrah” perspektif permainan bahasa L. Wittgenstein; Kedua, bagaimana konteks penggunaan kata “hijrah” di era post truth? Untuk menjawab problem tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi pustaka (library research). Untuk membantu analisis, penelitian menggunakan teori Language Game yang digagas oleh L. Wittgenstein. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa, penggunaan kata hijrah, selain bermakna “berpindah dari satu tempat ke tempat lain” sebagaimana peristiwa hijrah Nabi, hijrah juga bermakna jihad, dakwah, dan kesalehan. Penggunaan teori permainan bahasa, berguna untuk mengurai dan mengetahui bagaimana ragam pemaknaan kata hijrah sesuai konteksnya masing-masing agar tak terjadi kesalahpahaman di masa pasca-kebenaran. Abstract Along with the development of the era, the use of the word "hijrah" has experienced changes in meaning and different intentions. The difference in meaning is actually based on the context surrounding it. Various meanings of the word hijrah, coupled with the emergence of the hijrah movement which in recent years has become a trend among young people, are often misunderstood by the public, especially in the post-truth era. On that basis, this study raises two problems: First, how is the use of the word "hijrah" from the perspective of L. Wittgenstein's language game; Second, what is the context of the use of the word "hijrah" in the post-truth era? To answer this problem, this study uses a qualitative method with a library research type. To assist in the analysis, the study uses the Language Game theory initiated by L. Wittgenstein. The results of this study prove that the use of the word hijrah, in addition to meaning "moving from one place to another" as in the event of the Prophet's hijrah, hijrah also means jihad, da'wah, and piety. The use of language game theory is useful for analyzing and understanding the various meanings of the word hijrah according to their respective contexts so that there are no misunderstandings in the post-truth era

Abstract

Abstract This research will discuss the Koran that lives in coastal communities in Madura, specifically in the Masalembu archipelago, Sumenep. The living Quran study framework is used to explore the reception of the Koran at the functional level of fishing communities. This research uses a descriptive-analytic method with a discursive tradition approach. Questions to be answered: First, how is the reception of the Al-Qur'an by the Masalembu people in the Toron Parao slametan tradition? and second, how the discursive traditions are formed within it? The basis of the research is a field study whose data sources are obtained from interviews and observations, plus several literature reviews. From this goal, it will result; first, in the slametan toron parao tradition in Masalembu, the letters of the Koran used are closely related to the hope of safety, wealth, and avoidance of evil; secondly, a ritual leader (kiai) has a central role in the tradition and the community entrusts his role from generation to generation. Apart from that, people's belief in the magical side of the Koran forms a religious pattern for coastal people and Madurese in general. Keywords: Living Qur'an, Slametan Toron Prao, Madura Coast
