Abstract

Education is the most important thing in the joints of life, but the quality of education cannot always be generalized, it cannot be denied that the quality of education in urban areas is far more advanced than the quality of education in rural areas both in terms of formal and non-formal terms. This creates inequality in the community, therefore a solution is needed that can be an answer. Here the presence of youth as agents of reform is very much needed, young people, can become innovators and present various ideas that can overcome educational inequality, through the service of one of them. This study aims to see youth creativity by empowering the community through community service as a facilitator. This is so that the service carried out can be on target because the community will be spread from rural areas to remote areas. This community is known as the Indonesian Smile Community. The implementation method uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection using interview and observation techniques. During the research process, it was found that the existence of the community and its presence with community service and empowerment programs had a very positive impact on the community. His presence can be a breath of fresh air from the monotonous formal education system, lack of interest in literacy, and the wrong use of technology. The existence of young people who are active in the SAN community, especially SAN Trenggalek, has succeeded in increasing the prestige of the community as well as successfully presenting programs that are beneficial for the region. Pendidikan adalah hal terpenting dalam sendi kehidupan, namun kualitas pendidikan tidak selamanya bisa disamaratakan, tidak bisa di pungkiri bahwa kualitas pendidikan di perkotaan jauh lebih maju ketimbang kualitas pendidikan di pedesaan baik dari segi formal maupun dari segi non formal. Hal ini menimbulkan ketimpangan di tengah masyarakat, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan adanya solusi yang mampu menjadi jawaban. Disini kehadiran pemuda sebagai agen pembaharu amat dibutuhkan, para pemuda mampu menjadi inovator dan menghadirkan beragam ide yang mampu mengatasi ketimpangan pendidikan, melalui pengabdian salah satunya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kreatifitas pemuda dengan memberdayakan masyarakat melalui pengabdian dengan komunitas sebagai fasilitatornya. Hal ini bertujuan agar pengabdian yang di lakukan dapat sesuai sasaran sebab komunitas akan tersebar di wilayah pedesaan hingga pelosok. Komunitas ini dikenal dengan nama Komunitas Senyum Anak Nusantara. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan metode kulitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data mengguanakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Selama proses penelitian ditemukan bahwa keberadaan komunitas dan kehadirannya bersama program pengabdian serta peberdayaan amat sangat membawa dampak positif bagi masyarakat. Kehadirannya mampu menjadi angina segar dari sistem pendidikan formal yang monoton, sepinya minat literasi dan salahnya pemanfaatan teknologi. Adanya pemuda yang aktif dalam komunitas SAN khususnya SAN Trenggalek berhasil meningkatkan pamor komunitas sekaligus berhasil menghadirkan program yang bermanfaat untuk daerahnya..

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe how the process of assisting the management of tourism villages in Pandean Village, the development of natural tourism potential that exists after the program is carried out and what factors influence the process in it. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The results showed several stages of assistance, namely (1) Planning through action shows, socialization, filtering and deliberation, (2) Implementation through field sharing, understanding SOPs, training, mock studies, exhibitions and family talks, (3) Monitoring and evaluation through, partner independence, and joint meetings. The mentoring activities carried out succeeded in developing the potential of natural tourism which was initially in a damaged condition and had no value to become the main attraction for Pandean Village. Furthermore, the supporting factors of the mentoring activities are the strong cooperation and cohesiveness between Pokdarwis as the mentoring team and the Pandean community as the target group. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors of mentoring activities are negative opinions from outsiders aimed at the existence of the program and miscommunication between managers.
