Abstract

This study evaluates the performance of Random Forest models for Hepatitis C classification using a dataset from Kaggle, focusing on addressing class imbalance through resampling techniques. We compare three approaches: baseline Random Forest without resampling, Random Forest with SMOTE+ENN (Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique + Edited Nearest Neighbors), and Random Forest with SMOTE+OSS (Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique + One-Sided Selection). Results show that the baseline model achieved high accuracy (0.9837) but failed to detect minority classes (e.g., suspect Blood Donor recall=0.00). SMOTE+ENN significantly improved performance, achieving perfect classification (precision=1.00, recall=1.00) for Hepatitis, Fibrosis, and Cirrhosis, while maintaining high accuracy (0.9919) and ROC AUC (0.9999). In contrast, SMOTE+OSS showed limitations in detecting Hepatitis (recall=0.00) and yielded lower precision for Fibrosis (0.44), indicating its undersampling approach may be too aggressive. The study highlights SMOTE+ENN as the most effective method for balancing class distribution and enhancing model robustness in medical diagnostics. These findings underscore the importance of selecting appropriate resampling techniques to improve minority class detection in imbalanced datasets, with implications for developing reliable AI-based diagnostic tools for Hepatitis C.

Abstract

Sekar madya is sung in groups of more than two people simultaneously without the process of translating the contents of the song text. The introduction of sekar madya still uses media in the form of books so that people cannot have it instantly and the interest generated does not last consistently, therefore an interactive introduction media is needed that can be utilized by the people in Bali. The design of the Sekar Madya Voice Art Introduction application is in accordance with the research method used, namely the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. This method consists of six stages, namely concept (concept creation), design (design/draft), material collecting (material collection), assembly (compilation/creation), testing (testing) and distribution (dissemination). First, a mobile-based sekar madya introduction application has been produced using the MDLC method to preserve the tradition of reading Hindu literature and Balinese culture. Second, this application is used as a medium for introducing sekar madya but can also be used to document cultural heritage in digital form. Third, this multimedia application has been successfully built using Adobe Flash Professional Cc with the Action Script 3.0 programming language as the creation of programs and animations, while for the design using Corel Draw X7, then for video and audio editing using Adobe Premiere. And fourth, Based on system testing using the black box testing method, the results of the test show that the functionality of the system created is in accordance with the needs analysis and system design.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Masih tingginya angka kejadian stunting, dimana salah satunya disebabkan masih kurangnya kemampuan kader untuk melakukan pemeriksaan tumbuh kembang serta asupan sumber nutrisi bagi anak yang kurang seimbang. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah melalui program TAMASYA bersama SI KEMBANG. Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader dalam melakukan pemeriksaan tumbuh kembang yang tepat, akurat, dan berkala, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader tentang pengolahan bahan pangan tinggi zat gizi. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kader dalam melakukan pemeriksaan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan, meningkatnya kemampuan kader untuk menggunakan aplikasi SI KEMBANG yang membantu proses dokumentasi secara berkala, serta meningkatnya pengetahuan kader terkait cara pengolahan bahan pangan tinggi zat gizi. Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kemandirian kader sebagai bagian dari upaya pencegahan stunting. Kata Kunci: Tamasya, Si Kembang, Cegah Stunting ABSTRACT The high incidence of stunting is partly due to the lack of cadres' ability to conduct growth and development checks and the unbalanced nutritional intake of children. The solution offered is the program named “TAMASYA with SI KEMBANG”. This activity is able to improve the knowledge and skills of cadres in conducting appropriate, accurate and regular growth and development checks, as well as improving the knowledge and skills of cadres regarding the processing of high-nutrient food ingredients. There was an increase in the knowledge and skills of cadres in conducting growth and development checks, an increase in the ability of cadres to use the SI KEMBANG application which helps with the periodic documentation process, and an increase in the knowledge of cadres regarding how to process high-nutrient food ingredients. This activity is able to increase the knowledge, skills and independence of cadres as part of stunting prevention efforts. Keywords: Adolescent Health, Anemia, Sekolah Canti Remaja Putri Program
