Desa Wisata Mungguk mempunyai destinasi wisata alam, sejarah dan budaya lokal yang unik. Pariwisata yang disajikan berupa air terjun Setegung, riam Air Merah, Makam Raja Abdul Kahar, Meriam Tanda Perdamaian dan acara budaya berupa Robo - robo sebagai bentuk rasa syukur dan doa yang diadakan setiap setahun sekali. Berdasarkan hasil observasi lapangan, ditemukan fakta bahwa media yang digunakan untuk mempromosikan Desa Wisata Mungguk ini masih terbatas pada media cetak, baik berupa leaflet atau spanduk di lokasi wisata. Melihat permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu sebuah media promosi berbentuk audio video, yang dapat mempromosikan tentang Desa Wisata Mungguk dan mampu mempersuasif masyarakat untuk berkunjung ke tempat wisata. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan dalam merancang video promosi menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, sehingga mampu mendapatkan data dan informasi secara akurat melalui wawancara dan observasi secara langsung. Strategi kreatif dalam merancang video promosi menggunakan linear strategy, dengan harapan menghasilkan video promosi yang mampu menyampaikan informasi yang persuasif dan menarik minat wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke berbagai wisata yang ditawarkan oleh Desa Wisata Mungguk.

The Semarang city is one of the cities with a high population of street childrens in Central Java, based on data in 2017, there are approximately 300 street childrens scattered in various spots in the Semarang city. Factors causing the descline of children to the streets are exploitation from parents, the economy, the environment and the encouragement of friends, so that it requires special attention from all parties, the role of the community to know the background of street children so that later they can be involved in efforts to alleviate them. Considering the importance of delivering this information, Then a documentary film designed for street children portraits that can comprehensively describe the reality or facts of street children. This research applies a mixed method and linear strategy in the process of problem identification, analysis, data collection and media design. The results of the visualization of portraits of street children by using this documentary film, are able to provide information in reality of the life and activities of street children to the people of Semarang City in particular and Indonesian society in general.

Tonga Village is home to a significant number of carving craftsmen in North Toraja, who are renowned for their unique carving art. However, there is a growing concern that the younger generation is not fully aware of the cultural and historical significance of Toraja carvings. By employing qualitative research methods, including interviews, observation, and documentation, this study was able to identify several key issues. One such issue is the lack of regeneration of craftsmen, which has led to a decline in the number of individuals engaged in this practice. Additionally, there is a dearth of cultural socialization about Toraja carving in formal education, which has contributed to a lack of understanding about the significance and meaning of these motifs. In light of the aforementioned issues, there is a clear necessity for the establishment of an information medium that can elucidate the meaning and significance of Toraja carving in a comprehensive manner, with film serving as a potential conduit for such an endeavor. One potential solution is the use of a documentary film. The research method employed in this study is qualitative, employing a linear strategy as a creative strategy in media design. It is anticipated that the information will be conveyed in greater detail, in accordance with reality, and structured in a narrative that is aligned with the target audience, namely students and students. The implementation of the media will occur on a digital platform, thereby facilitating the dissemination of information on a wider scale and effectively increasing cultural knowledge through the use of attractive visuals, clear audio, and integrated narratives. The result of this research is the potential production of a documentary film that can function as a conduit of information, providing education to the community and thus serving as a resource for the public.

Abstract: World War II events that occurred on the island of Biak Papua, leaves many historical traces that are able to visit and access by people, one of them is the historical site of Binsari Cave, Binsari Cave is a silent witness of terribleness and war’s ferocity, where thousands of Japanese soldiers died killed, because of bombarded by the Allies. Based on observations done, the information related of the history of World War II that occurred in Biak is still very minimal, therefore information medium in the form of audio-visual video such as documentaries with feature genres, is needed ini order to narrate the actual fact of World War II happened. The design of the feature video uses qualitative method and Linear strategy so that it is expected to produce a more detailed information media, clear content and be able to attract people who are eager to know more about this historical event of World War II happened in Biak Island, as well as providing message to the public or tourists who visit the site to participate in maintaining and preserving historical sites in Biak Papua. The SMPN 1 Ungaran school museum is the only school museum found in semarang district. The museum is located in the SMPN 1 Ungaran complex that during the Dutch Indies was used as kweekschool. The Museum Buildings have a high historical value for civilization in the city of Ungaran and are now being used as a school museum that houses the most impressive collections that have ever occurred in this school and are not found in any other. There are many people who are unaware of the existence of the school's museum, but at the same time the museum has difficulty trying to explain the history, profile and detail of the museum collection when, having or attending educational exhibitions or similar events. Looking at the problem, it would require an audio-visual solution packed into a profile video capable of providing information about the school's museum profile. Applying qualitative methods and linear strategies, it is hoped to produce a video profile that can provide information on the history of museum buildings, museum profiles and museum collections in greater detail and interest to the general public, making its existence known.

GMIM Sion Tomohon merupakan gereja protestan yang sangat bersejarah bagi masyarakat kota Tomohon, karena gereja ini merupakan pusat dari perkembangan Kekristenan mula-mula masyarakat Tomohon bahkan Sulawesi Utara ditandai dengan rentetan peristiwa bersejarah yang terjadi di dalam gereja ini seperti tempat pertama kali dideklarasikan sinode GMIM hingga kedatangan presiden Soekarno dalam hal sidang sinode GMIM dan sekaligus masa gejolak PERMESTA di tanah Minahasa. Namun sayangnya informasi tersebut belum sampai ke masyarakat kota Tomohon karena segala keterbatasan media informasi yang dimiliki GMIM Sion Tomohon. Maka dilakukan perancangan media informasi dalam bentuk film dokumenter genre sejarah untuk menjembatani informasi sejarah GMIM Sion Tomohon kepada masyarakat kota Tomohon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan strategi linier dalam proses perancangannya. Hasil dari film dokumenter sejarah GMIM Sion Tomohon mampu menjadi media informasi yang menarik dalam visualisasi pentingnya sejarah GMIM Sion Tomohon bagi masyarakat kota Tomohon.

Jenderal Sudirman merupakan tokoh pejuang pasca kemerdekaan Indonesia. Jenderal Sudirman terkenal dengan taktik perangnya yaitu gerilya, namun taktik perang gerilya ini menguras banyak tenaga pasukan dan membuat Jenderal Sudirman penyakit yang dideritanya menjadi kambuh dan semakin parah. Jenderal Sudirman kembali ke Yogyakarta untuk menjalani perawatan hingga akhirnya pindah ke Magelang untuk mempercepat pemulihannya. Rumah tempat Jenderal Sudirman menjalani pemulihan sampai akhirnya meninggal, saat ini beralih fungsi menjadi museum. Berdasarkan penelitian awal serta wawancara yang dilakukan, didapat hasil bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat yang tidak mengetahui mengenai informasi ini terutama masyarakat Magelang. Sehingga perlu adanya media informasi yang mampu menceritakan mengenai hal ini, adapun media yang dapat digunakan adalah film dokumenter. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan dengan menerapkan strategi linear dalam proses perancangannya. Hasil dari film dokumenter akan menjadi media informasi yang menarik untuk menggambarkan jejak pesanggrahan terakhir Jenderal Sudirman di Magelang kepada masyarakat Magelang secara khusus dan masyarakat Indonesia secara umum.

The Salatiga White Cross Christian Social Foundation is a social institution that focuses on social and humanitarian services, apart from that, this foundation also develops human resources through several programs. The foundation is a continuation of the services of the Witte Kruis Kolonie which was founded on 14 May 1902. The social services provided by this foundation include nursing homes, orphanages, work centers, work training centers, and medical centers. The large operational costs are one of the obstacles experienced by foundations in carrying out their services. Helping hands from donors are needed, but the use of media is currently not effective for donors or the public who want to know about the social services carried out by the White Cross Candidate Foundation. Based on the existing problems, information media is needed that can describe the vision, mission, and objectives of the foundation and provide a clear and detailed picture of what service areas are managed by the management of the White Cross Foundation. By using qualitative research methods and applying a linear strategy as a creative stage, it is hoped that we will be able to produce profile videos that can present foundation profile information in more detail and interest to potential donors or the general public who have an interest in social services. This study is based on the high rate of illegal cigarette distribution in Boyolali Regency, which has been increasing. The distribution of illegal cigarettes has the effect of causing losses to the state due to a decrease in excise revenue and has a negative impact on public health. The Boyolali Communication and Information Agency (Diskominfo) has made prior endeavors to raise awareness about the distribution of illegal cigarettes. However, the media used was deemed aesthetically unappealing in terms of both visuals and audio. Furthermore, there is a paucity in the dissemination of information regarding the adverse impacts of illegal cigarette distribution. The central objective of this study is to design an informational video that can effectively and persuasively convey information about the negative impacts of illegal cigarette distribution to the public. The research method utilized a qualitative approach with a linear design strategy, which encompassed five primary stages: The following five stages were identified: (1) problem identification, (2) data collection through interviews and literature review, (3) data analysis, (4) video design, which includes pre-production, production, and post-production stages, and (5) testing and drawing conclusions. The video was designed with a persuasive and educational approach, combining creative motion graphic visual elements with clear narration and language that is easily comprehensible to the general public. The final result of this research is a socialization video for the community to raise awareness of the dangers and impacts of illegal cigarettes and encourage behavioral change in the community to reject and stay away from illegal cigarettes.
