Abstract

Non-communicable diseases are a major health problem in Indonesia. So that the management of the implementation of the Integrated Non-Communicable Disease Coaching post-activity is a very important part of the early detection of each NCD. The Indonesian Ministry of Health has launched the ASIK application as a strategy for early detection of NCD cases. CERDIK behavior is also effective in improving non-communicable disease prevention and control behavior in terms of cognition, attitudes, and skills. Based on interviews with the head of the health center in Bulango Timur sub-district, it is known that data collection on non-communicable diseases has not been carried out. And the use of the ASIK application has not been fully utilized. The methods used are community education through the CERDIK instrument and the substitution of science and technology with the ASIK Application. Based on data entry in the ASIK application, it is known that lack of physical activity is 16 people, lack of consumption of vegetables and fruit is 32 people, excessive oil and fat consumption is 103 people, excessive salt consumption is 90 people, consuming alcohol is 13 people, exposed to cigarette smoke is 50 people, smoking is 39 people, hyperglycemic is 2 people, pre-diabetes is 13 people, and hypercholesterol is 7 people. The results of this data are easier to use for early detection of NCD cases, even though the examination can be done through self-assessment. And also, the ASIK application can be used for reporting from community health centers and monitoring by the Health Office.

Abstract

Severity assessment is applied to determine the level of risk severity by evaluating two key variables: risk impact and probability. Ensuring the quality of healthcare services requires hospitals to maintain safe, effective, and well-managed work environments. Occupational health and safety (OHS) management systems hold a critical role in supporting workforce performance and human resources, including within medical record units. Proper implementation of medical record storage is essential to create safe and comfortable conditions for both the records and the personnel handling them. However, the storage process poses several potential hazards that may compromise workers’ health and safety. This study aims to analyze occupational risk management in the Medical Record Unit using a severity assessment approach in selected hospitals in Gorontalo City. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed, consisting of two stages: assessment of risk impact and assessment of risk probability. The study was conducted at Otanaha Regional General Hospital, Sitti Khadijah Mother and Child Hospital, and Multazam Hospital. The results show that among the three hospitals—representing government, specialized, and private healthcare facilities—the highest level of occupational risk was identified at Sitti Khadijah Mother and Child Hospital, with an average severity score > 4, classified as an extreme risk. Accordingly, hospitals are advised to strengthen risk control measures through elimination, substitution, and consistent use of personal protective equipment.

Abstract

The limited level of digital health literacy among coastal communities in Bintalahe Village has resulted in the suboptimal utilization of the Mobile JKN application. Although most community members own smartphones, many are still unaware of the functions and benefits of Mobile JKN or experience technical difficulties in its use. This condition causes the community to remain dependent on inefficient manual administrative services. The objective of this activity was to enhance access to and utilization of digital health services through socialization activities and assistance in using the Mobile JKN application. The implementation method employed a participatory approach through direct educational socialization and hands-on assistance in practicing the use of the Mobile JKN application. The results of the activity indicate an improvement in community understanding and skills in operating Mobile JKN, including checking membership status and independently registering for healthcare service queues. This activity contributes to increasing the efficiency of access to health services and reducing dependence on manual services. The activity also aligns with the achievement of the university’s Key Performance Indicators. Furthermore, continued collaboration between BPJS Kesehatan and primary healthcare centers should be optimized by strengthening digital education, increasing the intensity of socialization, and developing supporting technological infrastructure.
