Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has led to the emergence of various types of technology that can be found around us. One of the technological advancements that can be experienced is the presence of entertainment media in the form of online games. Online games are a type of game connected through the internet and can be played on devices such as computers (PCs), laptops, smartphones, and other platforms.Online games have had a significant impact on Indonesian society, especially among teenagers. The number of online game players in Indonesia has reached 64.5%, making it one of the countries with the highest number of players worldwide. Games such as Mobile Legends, Arena of Valor, Clash of Clans, and Player Unknown’s Battleground dominate recreational activities across different social groups, regardless of culture, age, or gender.Besides providing an engaging gaming experience, online games also offer positive impacts, such as training discipline, communication, and teamwork through their collaborative features. However, increasing interest in online games can lead to addiction problems, particularly among teenagers. This phenomenon may result in changes in social behavior and psychological well-being.This study proposes a solution by designing and developing an Expert System application for diagnosing online game addiction. The method used in this research is forward chaining. The methodology applied in this study follows ESDLC, as it serves as a fundamental concept for the design and development of expert systems.

Abstract

Ditahun 2021 ini, Pandemi Covid-19 sangat berdampak pada interaksi sosial di dunia nyata, namun sifat adaptif dan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi membuat manusia menemukan jalan interaksi sosial alternatifnya di dunia maya. Komunitas maya seperti grup WhatsApp menyediakan interaksi sosial dimana setiap orang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan serta mencapai tujuan yang diinginkannya dengan membuat atau bergabung dengan komunitasnya dan menata kebijakan untuk menata interaksi orang di dalamnya. Seperti yang kita tahu, saat ini Kabupaten Garut mengalami kasus outbreak, yakni peningkatan angka kasus Covid-19 yang lebih dari biasanya, dalam hal ini menyebabkan pemerintah melakukan pembatasan kegiatan yang lebih ketat lagi. Disini lain, Institut Teknologi Garut tetap harus melaksanakan pembelajaran pengabdian kepada masyarakat bagi mahasiswa program sarjana sebagai pemenuhan Kurikulum atau Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi. Maka dari itu, Institut Teknologi Garut menyelenggarakan pembelajaran dalam bentuk KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) Daring Masa Pandemi Covid-19 dengan tema “Pengabdian Kepada Komunitas Maya”, dengan tujuan untuk memenuhi minat atau kebutuhan warga komunitas maya yang selaras dengan bidang ilmu menggunakan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang relevan. Berhubung keadaan yang tidak memungkinkan untuk melakukan pembelajaran secara luring, maka dari itu metode pembelajaran akan dilakukan secara daring, dalam bentuk webinar. Adapun, setelah beberapa survey di tempat KKN yaitu Desa Wanakerta, Kec.Cibatu ”“ Garut. Muncul beberapa masukkan terkait rendahnya literasi digital di daerah tersebut, untuk itu program kerja yang akan dilaksanakan antara lain : Webinar Daring dengan tema “Pentingnya Literasi Digital di Masa Pandemi” dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan terkait literasi digital di masa pandemi ini. Diharapkan setelah webinar daring ini berlaksanakan dapat membantu warga komunitas maya khususnya di Desa Wanakerta, Kec.Cibatu ”“ Garut, umumnya untuk kita semua, dalam menyikapi pentingnya literasi digital di masa pendemi saat ini.

Abstract

The construction industry often faces challenges such as delays, cost overruns, and waste. This research aims to improve the efficiency of mall construction projects using lean construction principles. The methods applied include borda method for prioritization, pareto method for identification of the dominant cause of the problem, root cause analysis (RCA) method to analyze the root of the problem and fishbone diagram to visualize the root cause of the problem. The case study was conducted on an ongoing mall construction project. Data were collected through field observations, interviews with relevant parties, and analysis of project documents. The results show that the application of the borda method helps identify the factors that have the most influence on project efficiency, the pareto method focuses attention on 20% of the main causes of problems that contribute 80% to inefficiency, and the RCA method uncovers the underlying root causes. Based on the calculation results, it was found that the most common waste parameter and their sub-parameter were overprocessing with the sub-parameter “Repair”; overproduction with the sub-parameter “Design change”; motion with the sub-parameter “No special storage”; defects with the sub-parameter “Suitability/adequacy of heavy equipment used” waiting with the sub-parameter “Delay in material arrival at project site”.
