Abstract

Lapindo mud is a type mud classified as extremely unique because it is so quick to settle. The aims of this research was to determine the level of mud viscosity and flow rate in order to increase the disposal capacity in Porong River. The research was conducted in a laboratory soil mechanics and hydraulics ITN of Malang. The type mud is a type of sandy loam with specific gravity of 2.68 gr/cm3; average grain diameter of 0.0153 mm; 139.07 m wide river bed, 4.31 m/s maximum flow rate and 6.94 m/s minimum in which were difficult to move sediment so an effort was required for flushing, so that the tractive force that occurred (τ0) was 0.0183 kg/m2 < allowed from the allowable tension = 0.46 pon/feet2 or = 0.057 kg/m2. The result of this research was the addition of 2% chemicals (HCl) could help to reagent so as to break the clumping (flock) to the sedimentation process could be slowed down and distance of precipitation could be lengthened. Lapindo mud has quickly settled nature, due to molecular cohesion having dilatants nature meaning that it required high enough power to do the movements stirring the mud. Mud would have high viscosity (up) when performed with a large shearing force tension that causes turbulent mud moving. Nevertheless, there was no fast precipitation happen or deposition time was extended to Lapindo mud

Abstract

By the decision that Kepanjen District becomes the capital of Malang Regency, there will be displacement of governmental infrastructure, from Malang City to Kepajen District, Malang Regency. One of infrastructures that will be built there is the Office Block in Penarukan Village and Panggungrejo Village. In the utilization of natural resources, the Government of Malang Regency takes wisdom of environmentally sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to identify effect at were actifity to environmental component, predict the impacts on the environment component, and compose prevention, mitigation, and control the negative impacts. This study is used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the analysis of chemical components of geophysics, slope of 0-2%, alluvial soil, ambient air quality, and noise remained below standard of ambient air quality specified under the Rule of Governor of East Java No. 10/2009, clean water quality of inhabitant and clean water quality of river are still below standard of traffic analysis on Panji Streat is at the service level C. The environmental management direction at the pre construction stage are by using social approach and inviting a survey expert and measurement equipments which have been certified, construction stage, and post construction by social and technological approach by implementing Standard Operation Procedures

Abstract

Phond that happened in Wates Street Blitar City reached height of ±20 cm and duration of the pond was ±30 minutes. This condition resulted in broken traffic band and people took a longer other band. One of the generated impact of the existence of the pond was the demage on hard surface of the street. The final goal of this activity was in order that drainage network system can perform well in a long time according to the plan so that it can endure evaluated from construction facet and its function. The method used was by analysing flood discharge that happened (Qa max) 1,129 m3/s and channel capacity existing (Qke min) 0,014 m3/s, hereinafter evaluated and its channel capacity in handling the problem of flood can be conducted by dimension repeat channel. Dimension of channel plan in the form of square. Final result of analysis showed Qa < Qkr, the flood will not happed and capacity control (ΔQ) = 9.3 %

Abstract

Rubber Dam of Jatimlerek the including River Brantas of region middle, having wide 160 m divided 6 hole equipped that apron floor its down stream with length 12 m made of concrete. Problems that happened are well not balanced of bad material of river effect of barrage where bad material supply of river of upstream dam a little. As well as following with activity mining of sand. Impact that emerges is happened degradation of river bed especially at down stream apron floor, so that can lengthen hydraulic jump and impact scouring in down stream dam. Aim of this research is to get picture how far influence of degradation of river bed to the rubber dam which evaluated from facet of hydraulic. Result of analysis indicate that device floods control 100 year equal to 893,201 m3/s impact of hydraulic jump able to have an effect on to bad material stability river. Tractate force that happened exceed which is permitted causing movement of bad material of river and shown with existence of scouring bad of river in down stream dam in 1,97 m. Scouring river bed is also proved with analysis transportation of sediment that is KB 84 < KB 84-100 < KB 84-200. Scouring bad of river that happened continuously can influence stability dam and can generate damage (collapse) at apron floor dam

This condition resulted in broken traffic band and people took a longer other band. One of the generated impact of the existence of the pond was the damage on hard surface of the street. The final goal of this activity was in order that drainage network system can perform well in a long time according to the plan so that it can endure evaluated from construction facet and its function. The method used was by analysing flood discharge that happened (Qa) 2,710 m3/s and channel capacity existing (Qke) 2,433 m3/s, hereinafter evaluated and its result was that the existing channel is unable to conduct water well. The evaluation of channel capacity in handling the problem of flood can be conducted by dimension repeat channel. Dimension of channel plan in the form of square made from concrete coat with the width of channel base is (b) 1,10 m and the height of water surface is (h) 0,65 m, obtained plan channel capacity (Qkr) 2,895 m3/s. Final result of analysis showed Qa < Qkr, the flood will not happen and capacity control (∆Q) = 6,8%

Abstract

Dam Joho located in Kedak river with especial function as is ready standard water to resident in three villages. Execution of project of Dam Joho planned 210 calendar days at dry season, expected is final of December 2006 can finish. At mid of December happened rain with high intensity causing admission filling of water in accumulating basin sudden and happened by a problem of that is collapsing of Dam Joho. This Research aim to evaluate to collapse him of Dam Joho by comparing analysis charge floods of planning early and analysis charge floods pursuant to rainfall during 20 the last year. Besides, knowing stability storey; level of dam the at the of happened problem. Pursuant to information of executor contractor that face elevation irrigate moment happened to collapse him of Dam Joho is 510,30 m. Comparison of inflow discharge and outflow discharge can be obtained by interpolation, so that charge inflow obtained by 1,2249 multiplied with outflow discharge 139,603 m3/s, its result 171,003 m3/s at time period 193 year. Abstract

Retaining wall serves to hold the soil and prevent it from sliding danger. Either as a result of rain load, heavy soil itself, also a result of the load that works on it. Nowadays, construction of retaining wall is very often used in civil works construction of a retaining wall even if it turns out the land is long enough known in the world. Landslide that occurred along the River Konto at Abdul Manan Wijaya Street Pujon caused by the dimensions of the retaining wall is too small so unstable to the safety factor (SF), the value of the safety factor in the review is a safety factor to bearing capacity , shear forces and stability against roll style. The purpose of this research is to analyze the cause of the collapse of the retaining wall and re plan retaining wall that had collapsed. The unstable retaining wall caused by shear force that is 1.28 < 1.5 (unsafe). The replan of the retaining wall by gravity type retaining wall with the rear side of upright because of this type is suitable for a high retaining wall. Dimensional stability toward sliding wall: 1.67 > 1.5 (safe) and stable toward the bolsters: 3.9 > 1.5 (safe).

This condition resulted in broken traffic band and people took a longer other band. One of the generated impact of the existence of the pond was the damage on hard surface of the street. The final goal of this activity was in order that drainage network system can perform well in a long time according to the plan so that it can endure evaluated from construction facet and its function. The method used was by analysing flood discharge that happened (Qa) 0,3638 m3/s and channel capacity existing (Qke) 0,1268 m3/s, hereinafter evaluated and its result was that the existing channel is unable to conduct water well. The evaluation of channel capacity in handling the problem of flood can be conducted by dimension repeat channel. Dimension of channel plan in the form of square made from concrete coat with the width of channel base is (b) 0,35 m and the height of water surface is (h) 0,5 m, obtained plan channel capacity (Qkr) 0,3955 m3/s. Final result of analysis showed Qa < Qkr, the flood will not happen and capacity control (∆Q) = 8,7%

Abstract

Soil with high variability of shrinkage is one of contributed factor on main constraints in road contruction Probolinggo region is one of the areas has those problem of road contruction , and to overcome the problem by using soil amandement as soil stability. The aims of this study was to determine soil in Probolinggo as shrinkage soil types or not by application of ash rice husk. Result showed that by soil physical determination soil strength 2.233 g/m3, water content 50,15%, wet bulk soil 1,61 g/m3, dry bulk 1,15 kN/m3, Liqiut Limit (LL) 86,5%, Plastic limit (PL) 39,8% and Plasticity limit (PI) 47,1%. In general high plasticity value of soil will be showed highly soil shrinkage. Ash of rice husk with containt of SiO2 90% can be used as soil stability, and to reduce value of plasticity limit to 37,68% is needed about 10% ash rice husk. For main body road of 1 km is needed 669 ton of ash rice husk from burning rice husk 3.345 ton , and rice husk from about 16.725 dry rice milling

Abstract

The Sejahtera River Basin is located in Sejahtera Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi with an area of 61,028 Ha. The watershed is one of the water resources used for rice field irrigation for the people in the area. The aimed of this study to determine the hydrological characteristics and how much reliable discharge is available in the Sejahtera Watershed for existing conditions and due to climate change. In 2003–2020 an analysis of hydrological characteristics was carried out and there was an increase in the reliable discharge of 20% or 24 l/sec caused by climate change in the Sejahtera Watershed where the rains became lighter with an increase in presentation capacity ranging from 0–10 and 11-20% with moderately increasing temperatures ranging from 0.65-0.70 and 0.71 – 0.75oC. The data used in this research is secondary data. The condition of the Prosperous Watershed is still quite good, so it needs to be maintained so that there are no changes in land use.
