Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the recognition and measurement of immovable waqf (WTB) in improving transparency for the benefit of the people at the Indonesian Waqf Board Siak Regency. The study employed qualitative methods, with data collected through interviews and questionnaires, using the Analytical Network Process (ANP) for data analysis. The findings indicated that several Masalahs persisted in waqf management, such as non-compliance with financial reporting guidelines, inadequate human resources, and uncertified waqf land. The study suggested improvements in these areas to enhance the transparency and efficiency of waqf management. The implications included recommendations for policy adjustments and increased stakeholder engagement in waqf practices

Abstract

Generation Z is a group born in the digital era, where access to information and technology is very easy. However, saving habits in this generation are still a challenge that needs to be considered. This article aims to examine the saving habits of generation Z, the factors that influence them, and strategies that can be applied to increase awareness and saving habits in this generation. The research method used is a literature study from various trusted sources and direct observation at MAN 1 Plus Keterampilan Bengkalis. The results of the study show that the main factors influencing Gen Z's saving habits are a consumptive mindset, the influence of social media, and the lack of financial education from an early age. Therefore, strategies are needed such as digital-based financial education, the development of attractive financial applications, and the active role of families and educational institutions in instilling saving habits. By implementing this strategy, it is hoped that generation Z can be more aware of the importance of saving for a better future.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Islamic economic literacy among PKK mothers in Rimba Sekampung Village, Bengkalis Regency through training and seminars covering the introduction to Islamic economics, utilization of rhizomes as sources of income and health, and family financial management based on Islamic principles. The method used was an educative-participatory approach involving interactive lectures, group discussions, herbal product making practices, as well as pre-tests and post-tests to measure participants’ understanding improvement. A total of 30 PKK mothers actively participated in the activities. The results showed significant improvement in understanding Islamic economics, skills in processing rhizomes into marketable products, and the ability to manage family finances according to Islamic principles. The average pre-test score of 42% increased to 81% in the post-test. Evaluation also indicated a 90% satisfaction rate, with participants stating that the training was beneficial and opened opportunities for economic independence. Thus, the training and seminar effectively increased Islamic economic literacy and empowered local community economies. It is recommended that similar activities be conducted sustainably.
