Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate regional policies in implementing the student learning system in the era of the covid-19 pandemic at SDN 27 Gorontalo City. This type of research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The use of this method is carried out with the researcher's consideration that the variable to be studied is single, namely describing regional policies in the application of the student learning system in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation to a number of predetermined informants. In addition, researchers recorded secondary data in the form of library research. The results of the research and discussion show that the learning system implemented by the local government, especially at SDN 27, has not been fully successful. This is because students lose their identity in learning because the tasks given by the teacher are mostly done by parents. Students when following the online learning system (online) or online do not focus on what their teacher is saying. Parents are forced to participate in the online learning process, this causes students to concentrate on learning between listening to the explanations of the teacher and their parents. Teachers are not optimal in carrying out the online learning process because they cannot see student activity, where students often prefer to listen to rather than pay attention to the teaching teacher who is monitored in the video.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how young people engage in political activities through digital media and to what extent such activities reflect critical political consciousness and meaningful online activism. The research employs a descriptive-qualitative approach using literature analysis and secondary data from empirical studies on digital political participation conducted between 2015 and 2025. The development of digital technology has fundamentally transformed the forms and patterns of youth political participation. The findings indicate that social media has become a new arena for youth political expression and mobilization, with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter) playing a significant role in the dissemination of political information and social campaigns. However, most of these activities remain symbolic and are not accompanied by a substantive understanding of political issues. The phenomenon of slacktivism and the lack of political literacy remain major obstacles to achieving meaningful political engagement. This study concludes that digital democracy in Indonesia requires the strengthening of political literacy and critical awareness so that young people can move beyond being mere social media users to becoming reflective and constructive agents of social change.

Abstract

Perkembangan media sosial yang sangat cepat memengaruhi pola pikir, perilaku, dan pembentukan karakter remaja. Kondisi ini membutuhkan edukasi yang mampu membekali remaja dengan pemahaman mengenai etika, tanggung jawab, dan disiplin digital agar mampu berinteraksi secara bijak di ruang daring. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital, penguatan karakter, serta kemampuan remaja dalam mengelola aktivitas digital secara sehat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, diskusi interaktif, studi kasus, dan pendampingan langsung dalam pemanfaatan media sosial yang aman. Peserta merupakan remaja berusia 13–18 tahun dari wilayah mitra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman terhadap risiko konten negatif, kemampuan memilah informasi, serta penerapan kedisiplinan digital seperti pengaturan waktu penggunaan gawai dan pengendalian diri terhadap konten berbahaya. Selain itu, pendekatan partisipatif mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran kritis dan karakter positif. Program ini juga mendorong keterlibatan orang tua dan masyarakat dalam pengawasan digital, sehingga mendukung terciptanya ekosistem media sosial yang aman dan sehat bagi remaja. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan terbentuk perilaku digital yang bertanggung jawab serta berkelanjutan.
