Abstract

This study is entitled "The New Face of Islamic Religious Education Learning Using Puzzle Media at SDN Windu Karangbinangun." This study aims to explore the use of puzzle media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and to determine students' responses to its use. We conducted the study at SDN Windu Karangbinangun, Karangbinangun District, Lamongan Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, which collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that using puzzle media in PAI learning can increase students' learning motivation. This media allows students to learn in a beneficial way, as well as increase involvement and interaction in class. Students' responses to the use of puzzle media are very positive. They feel more motivated and interested in following PAI lessons. Puzzle media also helps them better understand the subject matter and improve their cognitive abilities. This study makes an important contribution to innovation in PAI learning methods by emphasizing the importance of using interactive and interesting media. We hope that educators and other researchers can use the results of this study as a reference to develop effective and enjoyable learning methods.

Abstract

Due to the high level of poverty in Indonesia, the government implemented a program called the "Family Hope Program" as a response to this problem. The program is targeted at low-income or low-income families with special components. One of the long-term goals of this program is to improve Human Resources (HR) in the education sector. This research uses field research methods with a qualitative approach. The data analyzed includes the maintenance of religious values among families who receive the Family Hope Program (PKH), the religious values instilled in families who receive PKH in Karangankidul Benjeng Gresik village, and the impact of PKH on beneficiaries. Participants in this research were PKH recipient families, caregivers, and PKH recipient children. Although the main aim of this program is to instill religious values, this research uses various methods, including observation, interviews, and documentation to collect information. The research results show that religious values are instilled in PKH recipient families through onboarding, role modeling and lecture methods. Apart from that, the religious values conveyed by the PKH coordinator include aspects such as the values of Faith and Taqwa, Gratitude, Devotion, Sincerity, Obedience, Qona'ah, Haya', and trust. Apart from that, Insaniyah values are also a focus, including Silaturahim, Al-Ukhuwah, Al Adl, Husnu-dzan, Al-Tawadlu, Al Wafa, Insyirah, Al-amanah, Qowamiyah, Al-Munfiqun, and Honesty. The impact of the Family Hope Program can be seen in increasing public awareness, especially in the field of education. This is reflected in their ability to remain in school, both in religious schools and public schools.

Abstract

Education plays a pivotal role in shaping individuals to meet the demands of the ever-evolving 21st-century competencies. This study delves into the development of a skill-based curriculum tailored to address the challenges posed by the competencies required in the 21st century. Utilizing a qualitative research approach, we identified essential skills through literature reviews, expert consultations, and interviews with stakeholders. The curriculum development process entailed collaborative efforts among education experts, teachers, and industry professionals. The implementation phase, executed in various educational institutions, facilitated a comprehensive evaluation through methods such as classroom observations, interviews, and analyses of examination results. Findings underscore a noteworthy enhancement in students' critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills. The discussion segment examines the successful adaptation of the curriculum to meet the needs of the contemporary workforce. Furthermore, it identifies challenges encountered during implementation, including teacher resistance and resource constraints. The conclusion emphasizes the critical necessity of integrating 21st-century skills into the curriculum and underscores collaborative efforts among stakeholders as imperative for the curriculum's success. This research provides profound insights into the significance of crafting a relevant curriculum to prepare students for the dynamic challenges of the future.
