Abstract

The study examined how workload and work motivation influence the performance of employees at Shopee Express Lamongan Branch, focusing on 52 employees. Data was gathered through questionnaires and analyzed using a multiple linear regression model. The findings indicated that both workload and work motivation independently have a partial effect on employee performance. This means that when considering each factor individually, both workload and work motivation can influence performance outcomes in different ways. The null hypothesis was rejected, implying that there is a significant relationship between the variables and employee performance. The results suggest that workload, which can either increase or reduce performance depending on its intensity, and work motivation, which drives employees to perform better, are crucial factors in shaping overall job performance. These findings have important implications for management, as they highlight the need for balancing workload and fostering high motivation to optimize employee performance. By addressing these two aspects, companies can create a more efficient and motivated workforce, leading to better productivity and job satisfaction.

Abstract

AbstrakBulan Ramadhan menjadi bulan penuh keberkahan bagi umat Islam, terutama bagi para pedagang. Hal ini karena bulan Ramadhan menjadi momen untuk meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi melalui berdagang. Salah satu momen di bulan penuh berkah ini dimanfaatkan oleh tim dosen Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Ahmad Dahlan Lamongan untuk melakukan pendampingan penjualan produk usaha “Es Bahagia”. Kegiatan pendampingan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produksi dan penjualan minuman segar berbahan baku berkualitas dengan memanfaatkan momen Ramadhan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini meliputi observasi dan wawancara, serta pembelajaran dan praktik partisipatif. Tahapan kegiatan mencakup persiapan (pengembangan resep, penyampaikan materi dan praktek pembuatan es, survei lokasi, pembuatan desain promosi, dan media sosial), pelaksanaan (promosi, produksi, dan penjualan), serta evaluasi. Selama 19 hari, penjualan Es Bahagia berhasil mencapai 914 cup dengan total pendapatan Rp 4.570.000. Urutan produk yang paling laris dan menjadi favorit konsumen adalah Es Milo Jelly, Es Kuwut Soda, Es Campur Semangka, dan Es Kopyor Susu. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan produksi dan penjualan, tetapi juga memberdayakan masyarakat lokal dengan penciptaan lapangan kerja sementara serta memberikan kontribusi pada perekonomian masyarakat sekitar. Evaluasi dilakukan guna peningkatan kualitas layanan di masa mendatang dengan mempertimbangkan preferensi konsumen, strategi perbaikan, promosi melalui media sosial, variasi produk, hingga kerjasama dengan para donator. Kata kunci: pendampingan usaha; kuliner; pemasaran media sosial; ramadhan. AbstractRamadan is a month full of blessings for Muslims, especially for traders. This is because Ramadan is a moment to increase economic income through trade. One of the moments in this blessed month was used by a team of lecturers from the Ahmad Dahlan Lamongan Institute of Technology and Business to assist in selling the business product "Es Bahagia." This assistance activity aims to increase the production and sales of fresh drinks made from quality raw materials by taking advantage of the Ramadan moment. Methods for implementing this service include observation, interviews, and participatory learning and practice. The activity stages include preparation (recipe development, delivery of ice-making materials and practices, location survey, creation of promotional designs and social media), implementation (promotion, production, and sales), and evaluation. During 19 days, sales of Es Bahagia reached 914 cups with a total income of IDR 4,570,000. The best-selling products that are consumers' favourites are Milo Jelly Ice, Kuwut Soda Ice, Watermelon Mixed Ice, and Kopyor Milk Ice. This activity increases production and sales and empowers local communities by creating temporary jobs and contributing to the surrounding community's economy. Evaluations are carried out to improve service quality in the future by considering consumer preferences, improvement strategies, promotions via social media, product variations, and collaboration with donors. Keywords: business assistance; culinary; social media marketing; ramadan.
