Abstract

Patients provide critical feedback on healthcare delivery, and satisfaction levels tend to rise when service performance exceeds patient expectations. Research is being conducted at the Mulyoharjo Health Center, Pemalang Regency, to inquire the proceeds of service quality and healthcare facilities on patient satisfaction. Our study employed a quantitative observational draw utilizing a cross-sectional design that involved 100 outpatients selected using purposive sampling. In addition to normality assessments, multiple linear regressions, t-tests, F-tests, coefficient of determination analysis, and TCR evaluations, data were analyzed using a several of statistical techniques. According to the results, both service quality and facility availability contribute significantly and positively to patient satisfaction, on both an individual and collective basis. In contrast, the F-test value reached 200.767, which was significantly higher than the threshold of 3.09 for the F-table, while the t-test results indicated that patient satisfaction was significantly affected by service quality (t-count: 11.200) and facilities (t-count: 4.184), exceeding the critical t-value of 1.660. The TCR method was also used to analyze the quality of service, availability of facilities, and overall patient satisfaction. Service quality and facility accessibility contributed 80.1% of the discrepancy in patient satisfaction, with the remaining 19.9% attributable to other factors not taken into account. In summary, the findings affirm that service quality and facility availability play a crucial role in enhancing patient satisfaction at the Mulyoharjo Health Center.

Abstract

The utilization of machinery in the production process can increase output, but it also generates significant noise, potentially disrupting activities and causing noise stress. Noise stress can affect the spermatogenesis process. This study aims to investigate the effect of noise exposure on the number of primary spermatocyte cells in mice (Mus musculus) in the UD Dua Saudara Demak wood cutting environment. The study was conducted using mice as subjects, given the ethical and operative limitations on humans. Mice exposed to noise with an intensity of 90 dB for 35 days were divided into three groups: Treatment Group I (KP I) consisting of six mice using ear protective equipment (APT), Treatment Group II (KP II) without APT, and Control Group (KK) with 60 dB noise. Data were analyzed using One Way ANOVA and Bonferroni post hoc tests with a significance level of p<0.05. The results of the analysis showed the number of primary spermatocyte cells in the Control Group (KK) was 64.13 ± 1.99; KP I was 64.88 ± 1.45; and KP II was 51.88 ± 0.82. The One Way ANOVA test resulted in p=0.000, which indicates there is a significant difference between the two groups. Bonferroni post hoc test showed significant differences between KK and KP II, as well as between KP I and KP II, while there was no significant difference between KK and KP I (p=0.399). There is an effect of noise exposure on the number of primary spermatocyte cells in mice (Mus musculus) wood cutting.

Abstract

Posyandu is a community-based health service whose success is highly influenced by the participation and performance of cadres. Cadres’ attitudes, which include cognitive, affective, and conative aspects, play a role in determining the quality of Posyandu activity implementation. A problem that is still found is the variation in cadres’ attitudes and performance; therefore, research is needed to analyze the relationship between attitude and the performance of Posyandu cadres in the working area of Bangetayu Primary Health Center, Semarang. This study was an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design involving 76 Posyandu cadres. Data were collected using attitude and performance questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using univariate analysis to determine the frequency distribution of variables and bivariate analysis using the Spearman correlation test. The results showed that most cadres’ attitudes were in the good and fair categories (48.7% each), while cadre performance consisted of very good (34.2%), good (34.2%), and fair (31.6%) categories. The Spearman test indicated a significant relationship between attitude and cadre performance (p < 0.001) with a moderate strength and positive direction (r = 0.372). It can be concluded that cadres’ attitudes influence the performance of Posyandu cadres, and better attitudes are associated with better cadre performance.

Abstract

Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu) cadres are the spearhead of basic health services at the community level. Their performance is crucial for the success of promotive and preventive activities, particularly maternal and child health. One factor influencing cadre performance is their level of knowledge regarding the duties, functions, and implementation of Posyandu activities. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and the performance of Posyandu cadres in the Bangetayu Community Health Center (Puskesmas Bangetayu) work area. This was an observational study with a cross-sectional design. Subjects were 76 Posyandu cadres at Bangetayu Community Health Center, selected using consecutive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire on cadre knowledge and performance, which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed univariately to describe the distribution of respondent characteristics, and bivariately using the Pearson correlation test. The results showed that the majority of cadres had knowledge levels in the sufficient (46.1%) and good (35.5%) categories. Cadre performance fell into the good and sufficient categories, respectively, at 34.2%, while 31.6% were in the poor category. Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between knowledge level and Posyandu cadre performance, with a p-value < 0.001 and a correlation coefficient of r = 0.438, indicating a positive relationship with moderate strength. It can be concluded that knowledge is significantly related to Posyandu cadre performance.
