Abstract

An inverter is an electronic device that functions to convert direct current (DC) voltage into alternating current (AC) voltage. In this design, a single-phase inverter is developed to convert 12V DC into 220V AC using a PWM IC type CD4047BE as the pulse signal generator. The CD4047BE is operated in astable mode to produce a symmetrical square wave signal, which is then amplified and used to control power transistors or MOSFETs that act as switching devices for the step-up transformer. The transformer increases the output voltage up to 220V AC. This system is designed for small-scale applications such as emergency lighting or light electronic devices. Testing showed that the inverter circuit is capable of generating AC voltage with a frequency close to 50 Hz and a waveform that approximates a square wave. These results indicate that the CD4047BE is effective as a PWM controller in a simple inverter system.

Abstract

This paper reviews the design and implementation of a battery charger that utilizes renewable energy sources, especially solar energy. The main emphasis of this research lies on the effectiveness of battery charging, the monitoring system to check the state of charge, as well as the protection inside the battery to extend its lifespan. By utilizing solar panel technology, the system is designed to offer an environmentally friendly and sustainable solution to the battery charging process. The findings of this study show that the developed system can achieve a maximum level of charging efficiency, as well as features that ensure safety and reliability during use.

Abstract

Wagir yang berada pada lereng Gunung Kawi mempunyai potensi tanah longsor. Guna memodelkan tingkat kerawanan tanah longsor di Kecamatan Wagir, parameter tanah longsor menurut Puslittanak Bogor tahun 2004 yang dijadikan acuan dalam penelitian ini. Parameter tanah longsor diolah dengan software ArcGIS 10.8 menggunakan metode scoring dan overlay, sehingga tingkat kerawanan tanah longsor dapat terpetakan. Parameter yang digunakan dalam klasifikasi tanah longsor tersebut yaitu kemiringan lereng, tutupan lahan, dan jenis tanah yang ada. Peta yang dihasilkan menunjukkan tiga tingkat kerawanan tanah longsor di Kecamatan Wagir yaitu rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Tingkat kerawanan tanah longsor rendah berada di bagian timur Kecamatan Wagir dengan luasan sebesar 1843 ha. Tingkat kerawanan tanah longsor sedang dengan luas 3820 ha berada di bagian tengah Kecamatan Wagir. Sementara itu, tingkat kerawanan tanah longsor tinggi berada di bagian barat Kecamatan Wagir dengan total luasan sebesar 466 ha. Dengan demikian, upaya-upaya dalam meningkatkan dan menjaga stabilitas lereng perlu dilakukan, khususnya di daerah dengan tingkat kerawanan yang tinggi.
