Abstract

The Fashion industry in Indonesia is one of the attractive industrial sectors for the creative economy sub-sector. Based on Statistics Indonesia, the GDP at constant prices of the textile and apparel industry amounted to 34.58 Trillion in the second quarter of 2023. However, clothing sales in physical stores have decreased due to online sales. Furthermore, in physical store sales, the dressing room is limited, the clothes being tried on are unhygienic and there are restrictions on the number of trying on clothes. So, it is necessary to design a clothing sizing tool that can determine the size of clothes, maintain hygiene and reduce queuing time when trying on clothes. The design of this tool begins with conducting interviews and identifying the necessary needs. After identifying the necessary needs, proceed with designing an affinity diagram to group needs that have similarities and determine the level of importance. The results of this determination will be designed into tool specifications using the Need-metric matrix and become the basis for developing tool concepts. From these results, a prototype was designed using Arduino, ultrasonic sensor and LCD display. Testing for the tool will pay attention to the performance results of measurement accuracy and usability testing. For the usability testing method, the SUS (System Usability Scale) method is used. From the results of the study, it was found that the performance value of measurement accuracy was 75.76% and the usability testing score was obtained 68. The performance value of measurement accuracy and usability testing still needs to be improved with proposals in the form of clothing requirements during measurement and the use of more automated tools to make it easier to use.

Abstract

The vegetarian diet has become increasingly popular in the 21st century due to its potential to reduce the risk of chronic and degenerative diseases. Vegetarians are individuals who do not consume animal products, either for religious or health reasons. However, it can be difficult to determine whether a particular food is vegetarian or non-vegetarian based on visual inspection alone. Therefore, this study successfully developed an SVM & RBF model in RStudio that can accurately differentiate between vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods based on image data. The model achieved an accuracy rate of 95%, specificity of 100%, sensitivity of 88.89%, and an AUC value of 94.44%. It can be concluded that the SVM & RBF model is capable of predicting data with high accuracy and effectively distinguishing between vegetarian and non-vegetarian classes.

Abstract

Specific attention in this study is given to Universitas Universal's scholarship programs, which rely on entrance exam results for selection, prompting the exploration of more efficient and objective decision-making processes. The study draws inspiration from existing research, particularly those utilizing the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), but distinguishes itself by evolving criteria to include exam scores, computer literacy, motivation, and program understanding. The primary focus is on addressing selection challenges in the software engineering program for post-admission students at Universitas Universal. By employing AHP, the study aims to provide a comprehensive decision support system, offering a prospective solution for future scholarship selection challenges. From the results of the AHP program that has been researched, it has been found that the scholarship recipient candidate is the first candidate with a score of 0.518.

Abstract

Bawaslu Provinsi Riau telah melakukan pemetaan potensi pelanggaran pada Pilkada serentak tahun 2024, seperti potensi adanya money politic, politik SARA, berita hoax, dan ketidaknetralan ASN. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikian strategi Bawaslu Provinsi Riau dalam mengawasi pelaksanaan pilkada serentak 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teori strategi pemerintahan oleh Geoff Mulgan (2009) yakni tujuan (purpose), lingkungan (environment), arah (direction), tindakan (action), dan pembelajaran (learning). Untuk mencapai pilkada yang berkualitas dan berintegritas, Bawaslu Provinsi Riau melaksanakan sembilan strategi, yakni: membentuk Kampung Pengawasan, mendirikan Kampung Anti Money Politic, penerapan konsep meaningful participation, menerapkan teknik probing prompting, menjalin kemitraan dengan media (Riau Pos, Riau TV, TVRI Riau, dan RRI Riau), membentuk program Media Sahabat Bawaslu di media massa, melaksanakan Training of Trainer (ToT) kepada saksi pasangan calon kepala daerah, memberikan bimbingan teknis pengisian alat kerja pengawasan pemilihan (SIWASLIH) kepada Bawaslu provinsi, kabupaten/kota, dan panwascam sebanyak dua gelombang, dan membentuk kelompok strategis pengawasan berbasis masyarakat. Bawaslu Provinsi Riau juga senantiasa terbuka terhadap evaluasi dan terus berupaya beradaptasi dengan dinamika pengawasan di lapangan
