Abstract

Tujuan dari Program IbM di desa Banyusidi adalah meningkatkan kesejahteraan Rumah Tangga Miskin (RTM) melalui usaha bisnisayam kampung secara semi intensif, dan peningkatan produktivitas ayam kampung melalui peningkatan manajemen produksi dan pemasaran. Program IbM di desa Banyusidi melibatkan dua kelompok mitra yaitu Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Mekar Sari di Pedukuhan Nglarangan dan KWT Larasati di Pedukuhan Dayugo. Dua kelompok mitra ini sebagian adalah masyarakat yang dikategorikan kelompok Rumah Tangga Miskin (RTM). Metode yang digunakan adalah, pertama, metode pelatihan, yang ditujukan untuk memberikan motivasi usaha ayam kampung dan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai pembibitan dan memelihara ayamkampung, sistem perkandangan, manajemen usaha praktis agribisnis ayam, upaya pencegahan penyakit dan vaksinasi pada ayam kampung, kedua metode babonisasi yang dilakukan dengan mendistribusikan ayam babon kepada anggota KWT terpilih dengan ketentuan masuk kategori RTM, bersemangat untuk memelihara ayam kampung dan sanggup mengembalikan 2 ekor/induk yang diterima dengan umur ayam yang samapada saat menerima pada satu tahun kemudian, ketiga,metode diskusi dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan IbM ini ditunjukkan oleh meningkatnya motivasi warga untuk menjalankan usaha bisnis ayam kampung sebagai upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraaan RTM di desa Banyusidi.Pelatihan yang telah dilakukan berhasil meningkatkan kualitas pengetahuan anggota KWT Larasati dan KWT Mekar Sari di desa Banyusidi untuk penanggulangan penyakit, cara pemeliharaan dan pemberian pakan, kemampuan melaksanakan vaksinasi secara berkala.

Abstract

Abstract

This activity aims to increase the economic empowerment of society through the application of appropriate technology and culture, held in 2 (two) groups of animals, Ngudi Rahayu and Sub Ngudi Rahayu, the number of participants are 15 people. Stages of activities starting from counseling, training, demonstration plots and mentoring. Activities that have been implemented are the economic empowerment goat breeders Ettawa crossbreed through continuous improvement of feed based on local resources are cheap and easy to obtain as well as the application of breeding technology. The results that have been achieved are demonstration plots of forage preservation was fermented using rice microbes and nutrients from a variety of ingredients such as fish, bamboo shoots, banana, turmeric, ginger, garlic and so on. Members of the group have been able to carry out the manufacture of rice microbial and sources of nutrients from a variety of organic materials available in the region. It was concluded that the villagers Sidomulyo represented by 2 groups of goat breeding business has implemented the concept of goat farm in a modern business through the use of local materials are available cheap, easily obtainable. Breeders also have understand the importance of good quality breed sources in order to improve the income communities.

Abstract

This activities was aimed to improving the productivity of local goat throughimprovements of feed technologies. Location devotion in Tempak village, Candimulyo.Stages of activities were started from counseling, training, demonstration plots andmentoring. The number of participants were 20 farmers. The feed improvement was madethrough feed processing technology using local raw materials. Microbial starter isderived from rice fermented. As a nutritional supplement, local ingredients such as garlic,ginger, turmeric, bamboo shoots and banana are also fermented. Making silage using ricemicrobial and nutritional supplement produces good silage, with a fresh green color andfragrance. 100% farmer has made a rice microbial starter and nutritional supplement, butthat has been consciously practicing regularly and applying is 85%.

Abstract

In general, the poor try to increase their income by raising livestock especially goat from “gaduhan”. This community service activity aims to increase income through raising goat by applying technobreeding to obtain optimal production. The activity was held for one year, namely 2019 in Tempak village, Candimulyo sub-district, Magelang regency. Tempak Village is a priority for overcoming poor villages in Magelang district. Through the application of these two technologies, it was hoped that more healthy breeders and productive breeders would be produced. There were 30 poor farmers with an average of one goat. Methods of applying technology through awareness, training and mentoring. In general theywere very enthusiastic about this technologies, because they were very aware of the results in order to obtain profitable production. It was concluded that the community has the awareness and ability to implement technobreeding to increase the productivity of goat.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to apply the "Babonisasi" system for kampong chicken to empower the community's economy, especially for hopeful families. This program was held in collaboration with UPSI Malaysia and UMBY through knowledge transfer using a zoom meeting attended by Bappeda Magelang Regency with participants from all members of KWT Larasati, young people, and UPSI Malaysia students. Transfer of knowledge includes the implementation of the babonisasi system for groups, the correct implementation of free-range chicken maintenance and care, kampong chicken IB, economic analysis calculations for kampong chicken business, disease prevention and vaccination efforts and utilization of household waste as animal feed. It was concluded that all of the existing members (20 people) had carried out routine maintenance in group cages and had understood vaccination and feeding techniques (30%).

Abstract

Candisari village is one of the villages in Windusari District, Magelang which has a problem of high stunting children. Stunting is a major threat to the quality of Indonesian society. This activity aims to assist the government in overcoming stunting through integrated native chicken cultivation. The methods used are raising awareness in the community, training and making demonstration plots. The target group is mothers who have children under five years old (toddlers) who are indicated to be stunted. The training carried out was how to raise native chickens integrated with vegetable crops, making supplementary food formulas for toddlers, demonstration plots of raising chickens integrated with vegetable plants. Chicken rearing activities are carried out by providing stimulus to 30 hens and 3 roosters. The results of the assistance reduced the stunting rate from 79 toddlers at the beginning of the activity to 46 toddlers at the end of the activity. Based on observations, all native chickens (100%) have laid eggs, with 100% hatchability and an average number of chicks of 10. In the cultivation of vegetable plants in the yard, it has succeeded 90% and has started to harvest the mustard, tomato and chili plants. The conclusion from this activity is that integrated chicken farming has a positive impact on reducing stunting rates.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious problem and needs to be solved properly, in order to improve the quality of health and good human resources. This service aims to help the government program of Candisari Village, Magelang in overcoming stunting. This service will be held in July-August 2023 in Candisari Village, Windusari, Magelang, Central Java and was attended by participants consisting of parents of toddlers affected by stunting. The method of implementing service is carried out by providing counseling on native chicken cultivation, distribution of hens and direct practice. The implementation stages start from coordinating activities, socialization and material presentation followed by a question and answer session. Then good native chicken maintenance management practices are carried out. The results of the service show that the knowledge of residents has increased as well as being more motivated in the production of family animal protein through the production of native chicken eggs, after this program runs residents who receive the help of the hen mother are now producing eggs every day and protein needs for toddlers independently can be met. It was concluded that the results of the service could increase knowledge and skills in residents and could help the Candisari Village government in handling stunting.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian inibertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi susu. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey, pengambilan data dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan kriteria sapi perah yang sudah laktasi dan melakukan sampling pada 47 responden anggota KPBS Pangalengan, Bandung. Variabel yang dianalisa adalah produksi susu sebagai variabel dependen (Y), dan variabel independen (X) meliputi pakan hijauan, pakan konsentrat, masa laktasi, masa kering, umur sapi, umur pertama estrus, umur petama beranak, days open dan service per conception. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan analisis statistik mengunakan persamaan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi susu yaitu faktor X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, X8 dan X9 secara bersama-sama berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap produksi susu. Kinerja produksi susu dapat dipengaruhi olehfaktor-faktor independen sebesar 60,1% sedangkan 39,9% disebabkan oleh faktor lain diluar penelitian. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang mempunyai pengaruh sangat kuat terhadap produksi susu adalah masa laktasi sedangkan faktor yang mempunyai pengaruh yang rendah adalah masa kering. Kata Kunci: Sapi Friesian Holstein, produksi susu, Masa Laktasi, masa kering KPBS PangalenganFactors Affecting the Production of Friesian Holstein Dairy Cow at KPBS Pangalengan, Bandung RegencyABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the factors that affect milk production. The research method uses a survey method, data collection is carried out by purposive sampling with the criteria of lactating dairy cows and sampling on 47 respondents from KPBS Pangalengan, Bandung. The variables analyzed were milk production as the dependent variable (Y), and the independent variable (X) included forage feed, concentrate feed, lactation period, dry period, age of cows, age at first estrus, age at first calving, days open and service per conception. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and statistical analysis using multiple linear regression equations. The results showed that the factors that affect milk production, namely factors X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, X8, and X9 together had a significant effect (p<0.05) on milk production. Milk production performance can be influenced by independent factors by 60.1% while 39.9% is caused by other factors outside the study. It can be concluded that the factor that has a very strong influence on milk production is the lactation period, while the factor that has a low influence is the dry period.
