Abstract

The teaching of Social Science (IPS) that is still monotonous and teacher-centered can impact the low learning outcomes of students, especially in the material of Social Interaction. Therefore, a learning model is needed that can enhance student engagement and understanding. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the jigsaw learning model on the learning outcomes of students in the 5th-grade IPS subject. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The population consists of 40 fifth-grade students. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research sample includes class V A (experimental group) with 20 students and class V B (control group) with 20 students. Data collection is done through tests that are validated for validity and reliability. Prerequisite tests use normality and homogeneity tests. Data analysis uses t-tests. The research results indicate that the average posttest score of the experimental group is 81.54, while the posttest score of the control group is 72.79. In addition, the t-test results show 0.000 < 0.05. This means that there is a significant difference between the pretest-posttest results of the experimental group using the jigsaw learning model and the control group using the conventional learning model. Therefore, it is concluded that there is an effect of using the jigsaw learning model on the learning outcomes of social studies in the social interaction material at SD Negeri 4 Srobyong

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between learning motivation and the learning outcomes of social studies for fourth-grade students at SDN 4 Bawu. A correlational quantitative research design was used to analyze the relationship between the two variables. Data were collected from 36 students using a structured motivation questionnaire and documented social studies test scores. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. The research instrument was compiled based on learning motivation indicators. The instrument validation test used Pearson's Product Moment correlation formula, while the reliability test used Cronbach's Alpha formula. Data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis, prerequisite analysis tests such as normality and linearity tests, and hypothesis testing using correlation tests with the Product Moment correlation formula. The research results show that there is a very strong and significant relationship between learning motivation and social studies learning outcomes at SDN 4 Bawu, with a correlation coefficient of 0.687, and an r-table at a significance level of 5% of 0.329. Thus, there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and student learning outcomes. This indicates that learning motivation is an important factor in achieving student learning outcomes. The research results indicate that there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 4 Bawu.

Abstract

Pentingnya peran pendidik dan peserta didik dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan hidup. Terutama di lingkungan sekolah agar aman dan nyaman digunakan sebagai tempat belajar maupun media belajar. Perlu upaya untuk mengembangkan pendidikan karakter “peduli lingkungan” melalui program praktik pembelajaran untuk menginisiasi budaya peduli lingkungan di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melatih karakter “peduli lingkungan” pada guru dan siswa untuk membentuk pribadi yang peduli terhadap lingkungan alam sekitar melalui program praktik pembelajaran. Program ini dilaksanakan di MI Al-Mumtaz Pathuk, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Program praktik pembelajaran ada dua tahap yaitu Pendampingan Guru Kelas dan Praktik Permodelan Pembelajaran. Rangkaian pelaksanaan program kegiatan pengabdian telah dilaksanakan dengan baik selama enam bulan dari bulan Oktober 2020 sampai dengan Maret 2021, yang meliputi: koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah, pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian, dan pembuatan laporan pengabdian. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah mengedukasi pentingnya menjaga kelestarian alam dan peningkatan kesadaran sehingga membentuk karakter positif “peduli lingkungan” pada diri guru dan siswa di MI Al-Mumtaz Pathuk Gunungkidul.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru kelas dalam menangani perilaku bullying pada siswa kelas V di SDNU Pemanahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian peran guru kelas dalam menangani perilaku Bullying, yaitu (1) sebagai pembimbing yaitu dengan cara memberikan penjelasan dan tindakan kepada siswa saat terjadi perilaku bullying; (2) sebagai mediator atau fasilitator yaitu dengan cara menumbuhkan hubungan yang positif antar siswa, mendorong perilaku sosial yang baik dan mengupayakan siswa mendapatkan sumber belajar; (3) sebagai penasihat yaitu dengan cara memberikan saran dan nasihat terhadap siswa yang mengalami perilaku bullying. Bullying di kelas adalah perbuatan atau perilaku yang dilakukan siswa dengan tujuan menyakiti baik secara fisik, verbal pengucilan teman sebaya. Jenis perilaku Bullying di kelas V SDNU Pemanahan adalah Bullying fisik seperti menendang, memukul, mendorong, dan meludahi. Bullying verbal seperti mengejek dengan nama panggilan orang tua dan mengejek pekerjaan orang tua. Bullying relasional seperti pengabaian dan pengucilan dalam kelompok teman sebaya. Pola terbentuknya Bullying yaitu faktor lingkungan keluarga, karakter individu, lingkungan pertemanan dan ukuran badan dan kekuatan antar siswa.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the issues arising from the decline in children's character and the crucial role of schools in addressing this matter. As demonstrated by SDIT Budi Mulyo, which focuses on cultivating religious character and good morals, the implementation of Latansa learning has positively impacted students' character. This study aims to analyze the role of  Latansa learning in shaping the religious character of students at SDIT Budi Mulyo.This research is qualitative and employs a descriptive research method.  The results indicate that technological advancements have led to a decline in character education among children. To address this issue, it is essential to instill religious character from an early age, in line with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The solution identified is the effective implementation of Latansa learning in shaping students' religious character, enhancing religious adherence, and improving attitudes of respect towards parents and discipline regarding time.Throughout the study, the role of Latansa learning in shaping religious character was highlighted, emphasizing the importance of instilling religious values from an early age, particularly in elementary school. Latansa learning has proven effective in enhancing students' religious character. These findings align with previous research emphasizing the necessity of character education at all ages and the integration of religious education within the curriculum to develop noble morals and tolerance. Thus, Latansa learning can serve as an effective solution to counter the influence of technology and strengthen religious values among students.

Abstract

The importance of producing scientific papers in an academic environment is a necessity. However, it is a challenge for students who have just entered the world of writing. Therefore, this writing training activity aims to increase students' writing motivation and literacy and numeracy skills in compiling a scientific paper. The method of implementing activities uses the forum group discussion (FGD) method and the simulation method. The results of the activity showed that the writing training activities for students at Ma'had Aly Asslafiyyah went well. Participants have been able to prepare a draft of a scientific paper. Apart from that, 95% of participants had a strong desire to learn to improve their literacy and numeracy skills, as seen from the very positive response from participants participating in the training until the end of the activity. Through the Scientific Writing training activities at Ma'had Aly Assalafiyyah, students' enthusiasm and enthusiasm for improving their literacy and numeracy skills can be seen increasing, with follow-up plans aimed at strengthening the quality of learning and preparing students to contribute to the scientific world.
