Abstract

The addition of local wisdom to the curriculum is a very relevant issue, considering that Indonesia has a very diverse cultural wealth. Although various studies and publications have been conducted on various topics and levels of education, a comprehensive study of how local knowledge is used in the science curriculum at the senior high school (SMP) level is still relatively limited. This study aims to explore in depth the implementation of local wisdom in the science curriculum at junior high school. The approach used is a systematic literature review, by analysing 20 scientific articles published between 2015 and 2025 and indexed in the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The integration of local knowledge in middle school science classes has great potential to improve the quality of education while supporting the preservation of local culture. This integration process can be applied through various forms of activities, including intracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular. In intracurricular activities, local wisdom is adapted into teaching materials, learning methods, learning media, and evaluation systems. Co-curricular activities may include the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening (P5) programme, environmental education, field studies, and educational visits. Meanwhile, in extracurricular activities, integration can be done through traditional arts such as puppet shows. It is expected that through this approach, there will be improvements in science literacy, ecoliteracy, science process skills, disaster knowledge, critical thinking skills, and overall student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Integrasi nilai Tri Hita Karana dan Kalosara dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar menawarkan pendekatan pendidikan berbasis budaya untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa yang harmonis dalam aspek spiritual, sosial, dan ekologis. Penelitian ini dipilih untuk menjawab kebutuhan pelestarian nilai budaya lokal di tengah modernisasi, dengan fokus pada penguatan karakter melalui pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi pada guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Integrasi nilai Tri Hita Karana dan Kalosara dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan kearifan lokal ini berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap pengembangan karakter siswa. Dengan mengedepankan tiga aspek utama dari Tri Hita Karana (hubungan dengan Tuhan, sesama, dan lingkungan) serta nilai-nilai Kalosara seperti persatuan, keadilan, dan kesopanan, siswa dapat belajar untuk hidup harmonis dalam masyarakat yang beragam dan menjaga keseimbangan dengan lingkungan sekitar. Integrasi ini memperkuat nilai spiritual, sosial, dan ekologis dalam diri siswa, yang sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan karakter dan relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan modern.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the application of deep learning technology in the learning process at junior high schools (SMP) in Konawe Regency. Deep learning, as a branch of artificial intelligence (AI), has the potential to improve learning effectiveness through personalisation of teaching materials and comprehensive data analysis of student development. The research objects include four junior high schools in Konawe Regency, namely SMPN 1 Unaaha, SMPN 2 Unaaha, SMPN 1 Wonggeduku, and SMPN 2 Wonggeduku. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, which includes interviews with teachers and principals as well as direct observation of the implementation of deep learning in the learning process. The results show that although the implementation of deep learning technology is still on a limited scale, its impact on improving the quality of learning including increased student motivation, better understanding of the material, and more precise ability to analyse student development is quite significant. However, the implementation of this technology still faces a number of obstacles, especially related to infrastructure limitations and the need for continuous training for teachers. Therefore, this study recommends increasing infrastructure support and continuous training so that the potential of deep learning can be maximised in the context of secondary education.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan teknologi pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) dalam proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kabupaten Konawe. Pembelajaran mendalam, sebagai salah satu cabang kecerdasan buatan (AI), berpotensi meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran melalui personalisasi materi ajar dan analisis data perkembangan siswa yang komprehensif. Objek penelitian meliputi empat SMP di Kabupaten Konawe, yaitu SMPN 1 Unaaha, SMPN 2 Unaaha, SMPN 1 Wonggeduku, dan SMPN 2 Wonggeduku. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang meliputi wawancara dengan guru dan kepala sekolah serta observasi langsung terhadap implementasi pembelajaran mendalam dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun implementasi teknologi pembelajaran mendalam masih dalam skala terbatas, dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, termasuk peningkatan motivasi siswa, pemahaman materi yang lebih baik, dan kemampuan menganalisis perkembangan siswa yang lebih presisi, cukup signifikan. Namun, implementasi teknologi ini masih menghadapi sejumlah kendala, terutama terkait keterbatasan infrastruktur dan perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru. Oleh karena itu, studi ini merekomendasikan peningkatan dukungan infrastruktur dan pelatihan berkelanjutan agar potensi pembelajaran mendalam dapat dimaksimalkan dalam konteks pendidikan menengah.
