Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the role of landscape materials in microclimate changes within a tropical humid environment, specifically in coastal areas. Landscape materials possess thermophysical properties that can influence microclimate changes. This study focuses on three microclimate variables: surface temperature, air temperature and solar radiation. The landscape materials examined include bricks, dry` soil, paving stones, trees, and a garden pond. A quantitative descriptive analysis method was employed. Thermophysical properties of local materials, such as red bricks and paving blocks, were measured using a calorimeter, infrared thermometer, and thermocouples. Microclimate measurements were conducted in the open space of a commercial zone at coastal area of Manado City, Indonesia. The measurement include solar radiation, air temperature, and surface temperature of various materials. The HEAT2 computer program was used to assist in analyzing changes in surface temperature due to the presence of different landscape materials. The results revealed that at midday, trees could reduce solar radiation by up to 80% under their shade. Conversely, materials like bricks, paving stones, and hard soil, when exposed to direct sunlight, could cause surface temperatures to reach up to 50°C. The surface temperature of the garden pond water could reach 50°C, but at a depth of 50 cm, the temperature dropped to 25°C.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Presisi Kurnia Makmur Cileungsi. The research employed a quantitative approach with an associative method. The population consisted of 36 employees in the production division, all of whom were taken as samples using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS version 25. The validity and reliability tests confirmed that the research instrument was appropriate, while the classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity) indicated that the data met the requirements for regression analysis. Multiple linear regression results showed that: (1) leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-value of 3.028, a significance level of 0.005, and a regression coefficient of 0.386; (2) work discipline has a positive and significant effect with a t-value of 4.166, a significance level of 0.000, and a regression coefficient of 0.590; and (3) simultaneously, both variables significantly influence employee performance with an F-value of 40.165, a significance level of 0.000, and an R² of 0.709. The findings highlight the importance of implementing a communicative and motivational leadership style along with consistent discipline enforcement through clear rules, effective supervision, and balanced rewards to enhance employee performance.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to figure out how Triple Market Kemang Pratama Bekasi Customer Loyalty, Service Quality, and Customer Satisfaction are connected. The coffee business is becoming more and more competitive, therefore it's important to provide great service, particularly from baristas, to attract and keep consumers. The study asked 70 people who go to the place often to fill out a survey. We used multiple linear regression to look at the data after doing a number of preliminary checks, such as tests of validity, reliability, and classical assumptions. A questionnaire was used to get the data. The study found that there is a statistically significant link between customer loyalty and both service quality (X1) and customer satisfaction (X2). The significance levels for both variables are 0.000 and 0.016, respectively. When these two things are put together, they have a big effect on how loyal customers are. These two variables explain 73.2% of the difference in customer loyalty, whereas other factors explain the other 26.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of transformational leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at Kawasaki Matahari Langgeng Jaya Motorcycle Dealer, Tambun Bekasi. Transformational leadership is a leadership approach that focuses on enhancing employee motivation, enthusiasm, and performance through inspiration, idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. Meanwhile, work motivation refers to internal and external drives that encourage employees to achieve specific goals optimally in the workplace. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive associative approach. The population consists of all 37 employees, all of whom were selected as samples using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test (partial), F-test (simultaneous), and coefficient of determination (R²), using SPSS version 29. The results show that partially, transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-count of 5.220 t-table 2.032 and a significance value of 0.008 0.05. Work motivation also has a positive and significant partial effect, with a t-count of 5.895 t-table 2.032 and a significance of 0.001 0.05. Simultaneously, both independent variables significantly influence employee performance, as shown by an F-count of 21.300 F-table 3.28 and a significance of 0.001 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.556 indicates that 55.6% of the variation in employee performance is explained by transformational leadership and work motivation, while the remaining 44.4% is influenced by other factors outside this study.
