Abstract

Pondok pesantren Daarul Ahsan adalah salah satu pondok pesantren di Indonesia yang terletak di kabupaten Tangerang, Banten. Pondok pesantren ini mengadopsi sekolah formalitas berbasis agama. Namun pada dasarnya santri dan santriwati di pondok pesantren Daarul Ahsan lebih banyak diajarkan tentang ilmu agama. Melihat dari perkembangan zaman yang terus berubah bidang sains dan teknik menjadi salah satu peminatan yang semakin banyak dibutuhkan pada dunia kerja. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mendukung integrasi pendidikan sains dan teknik dengan kurikulum pesantren di Pondok Pesantren Daarul Ahsan. Melalui metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan ceramah, praktik, dan survei lapangan, tim pengabdi memberikan pelatihan tentang bidang sains dan teknik, termasuk pengenalan jurusan teknik, gambaran dunia kerja, serta seminar kecerdasan buatan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner Pretest-Post-test berbasis Google Form untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman santri. Integrasi ini tidak hanya memperkuat kompetensi ilmiah santri tetapi juga kemampuan mereka menghubungkan sains dengan nilai-nilai agama, membentuk sikap kritis dan terbuka. Kegiatan ini menjadi model inovatif bagi pesantren dalam menjawab tantangan era globalisasi.

Abstract

Cilegon City, located in Banten Province, Indonesia, has characteristics with unique features that are nicknamed the “Steel City”. To emphasize the city's characteristics, it is necessary to study further the “Image of the City” of Cilegon. The influence of city elements (Kevin Lynch) on the development of Cilegon City emphasizes serves as the basis for this research. Research objective Identifying the elements that are characteristic of Cilegon City and understanding how these elements contribute to shaping the overall structure and function of the city. Meanwhile, the methodology of this research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through field observations and literature studies. Research results show that the city image of Cilegon City is good, but there are a few categories that need improvement. Cilegon City has various weaknesses in its urban planning, particularly in terms of spatial fragmentation, traffic congestion, lack of green open spaces, and the impact of industrial areas.

Abstract

This study is about the composition of mass and facade at the Muara Baru Modern Fish Market in North Jakarta, focusing on the application of modern architecture. This study aims to identify the composition of mass and facade at the Muara Baru Modern Fish Market building in North Jakarta by knowing the influence and development between the old and new buildings. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, documentation, and literature analysis. The results of the study show that the form of the Muara Baru Modern Fish Market mass composition adopts a functional and aesthetic design, with facade elements inspired by fish scales, creating a strong visual identity. The use of modern materials such as glass and metal gives a dynamic and fresh impression, supporting the theme of the sea and fisheries. This study is expected to provide new insights in the application of metaphorical architecture to commercial buildings, as well as being a reference for the development of modern fish market designs in Indonesia. Thus, the Muara Baru Modern Fish Market not only functions as a trading centre but also as an example of modern architectural innovation that can change people's views of traditional markets to be more attractive and environmentally friendly.
