Abstract

The success of development is largely determined by the quality of human resources, both in the role of decision makers, policy makers, thinkers, planners, to technical implementers and development supervisors. This study aims to examine the importance of human resource management (HRM) in improving the quality of educators in educational institutions. Proper HRM management is considered to have a significant impact on the effectiveness of education, the quality of graduates, and the success of educational organizations as a whole. Using a literature study and content analysis approach, this article identifies the main functions of HRM, such as planning, organizing, directing, controlling, to development and dismissal. This study also reviews the objectives of HRM from personal, functional, organizational, to social dimensions, as well as HRM development strategies that focus on the formation of competent educators and maintaining teacher work effectiveness. The results of the study indicate that good HRM implementation is essential to answer the challenges of modern education and improve the quality of learning in educational institutions.

Abstract

Revolusi digital telah membawa perubahan fundamental dalam dunia pendidikan, mendorong munculnya metode pembelajaran modern yang lebih cepat, fleksibel, dan berbasis teknologi. Namun, transformasi ini juga menimbulkan tantangan serius, baik secara epistemologis maupun etis. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meninjau secara kritis dinamika tersebut melalui pendekatan filsafat ilmu, dengan fokus pada rasionalitas ilmiah, validitas pengetahuan, dan integrasi nilai dalam proses pembelajaran. Menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research), tulisan ini mengkaji kontribusi filsafat terhadap pemahaman paradigma keilmuan dari era positivisme hingga konstruktivisme digital, serta mengeksplorasi cara-cara etis dan rasional dalam merancang metode pembelajaran yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi namun tetap sahih secara ilmiah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran modern cenderung terjebak dalam efisiensi instrumental tanpa disertai kedalaman reflektif, sehingga berisiko kehilangan orientasi nilai dan tujuan pendidikan yang humanistik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan filosofis yang menyeluruh guna menyeimbangkan aspek teknis dan etis dalam sistem pembelajaran digital. Artikel ini menyarankan perlunya integrasi antara teknologi, rasionalitas ilmiah, dan tanggung jawab etis sebagai landasan transformasi pendidikan yang berkelanjutan dan bermakna.
