Abstract

The performance of field agricultural extension workers (PPL) is the ability of extension workers to carry out their main tasks which include providing education, information, and guidance to farmers, Currently the Agricultural Extension Unit of Negeri Besar District has as many as 12 Field Agricultural Extension Workers (PPL) with a total group of 132 farmer groups,   with a total of 3,356 farmer group members, and an average of 1 farmer group of 25-30 people.  This study was used to measure the level of satisfaction of farmers in assessing the performance of extension workers (X1) and the competence of extension workers (X2) with the seriousness of extension workers as a moderation variable. A quantitative approach was used by collecting data through questionnaires to 97 farmer groups. The validity test was carried out using the product moment correlation method and was carried out through the SPSS 25.0 application. The results of the analysis showed that the performance of extension workers did not have a significant effect on farmer satisfaction, the competence of extension workers had a significant effect on farmer satisfaction, the seriousness of extension workers strengthened the performance of extension workers, and the seriousness of extension workers strengthened employee competence.  The results of the multiple regression correlation test showed that the R Square value of 0.746 showed that 74.6% of the variation in farmer satisfaction could be explained by a combination of independent variables.   Overall, this regression model is quite strong and effective in explaining the influence of independent variables on farmer satisfaction in Negeri Besar District, Waykanan RegencyKeywords: Performance, Satisfaction, Seriousness.

Abstract

The performance of police personnel serves as a key indicator in determining the effectiveness of law enforcement organizations in carrying out their duties and functions. The complex and high-pressure nature of police work poses significant challenges that may affect the stability and productivity of personnel performance. High workload and psychological pressure resulting from job stress can have both direct and indirect impacts on performance. Work motivation plays a strategic role as a mediating variable that can either strengthen or weaken the influence of these determinants on performance. The research problem addressed in this study is: how do workload and job stress affect the performance of personnel at the Lampung Regional Police (Polda Lampung), both directly and indirectly through work motivation as an intervening variable? This study employs a quantitative approach using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS version 4.0. The results reveal that workload has a significant positive effect on personnel performance, while job stress does not. Additionally, personnel performance does not have a significant positive effect on work motivation. Moreover, workload and job stress do not significantly influence personnel performance through work motivation. Keywords: Workload Determinants, Job Stress, Personnel Performance, Work Motivation

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of leadership and compensation on work motivation with job satisfaction as a mediating variable in personnel of the Lampung Police Human Resources Bureau. The problems raised focus on low work motivation triggered by dissatisfaction with the leadership style and the compensation system that is perceived to be unfair. The novelty of this study lies in the use of a mediation model that places job satisfaction as a link between leadership variables and compensation for motivation, which is rarely comprehensively studied in police settings. The research approach used was quantitative with a census method of 119 respondents, analyzed using path analysis techniques through the help of SPSS and PLS-SEM software. The results showed that leadership and compensation significantly affected job satisfaction, which in turn had an impact on increased work motivation. In addition, job satisfaction has been shown to be an effective mediating variable in the relationship between leadership and compensation for work motivation. This research contributes to the development of public sector human resource management, especially in law enforcement agencies, by emphasizing the importance of job satisfaction as a strategy to increase personnel motivation. Abstract

The performance of personnel in police organizations is a crucial aspect that determines the quality of public services and the effectiveness of the institution. Leadership factors, work motivation, and psychological conditions such as work stress are important determinants that affect the achievement of optimal performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and work motivation on the performance of Lampung Police Biddokkes personnel, as well as test the role of work stress as a moderation variable. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The research population is all Biddokkes personnel as many as 104 people, who were made respondents through saturated sample techniques. The data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and tested by validity, reliability, classical assumptions, and path analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership had a significant positive effect on performance, as well as work motivation. Simultaneously, both affect performance with strong significance values. In addition, work stress has been shown to moderate the relationship with an increase in the coefficient of determination. These findings confirm that transformational leadership and work motivation are able to improve performance, but their effectiveness is greatly influenced by stress levels. Research recommendations include individual attention-based leadership training, a fair reward system, and integrated work stress management strategies to support the optimization of police personnel performance. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, digitalization of human resource management (HR), and performance appraisal systems on organizational performance with work motivation as a moderation variable. The research was conducted at the Lampung Police Human Resources Bureau involving 100 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results of the study show that leadership, digitization of human resources, and performance appraisal systems have a significant effect on organizational performance. Work motivation has been shown to strengthen the relationship between leadership and human resource digitalization to organizational performance, but does not moderate the relationship between the performance appraisal system and organizational performance. These findings underscore the importance of transformational leadership styles, digitization of human resource management, and a transparent performance appraisal system in improving the effectiveness of public organizations. This research makes theoretical contributions to the human resource management literature as well as practical recommendations for public organizations, particularly in the context of policing.
