Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of innovation in media used by teachers in delivering Arabic language material, the use of school facilities such as laptops and projectors that have not been utilized optimally in learning, and the low value of Arabic language learning outcomes. . This study aims to (1) determine the process of developing Quizizz as a learning medium for Arabic for Class IV MI Darul Falah Salamkanci in the 2022/2023 academic year and (2) determine the quality of Quizizz as a learning medium for Arabic for Class IV MI Darul Falah Salamkanci in the 2022/2023 academic year based on assessments from media experts, material experts, and student responses. This research is development research, or research and development (R&D), using a 3D development model, namely, define, design, and develop. The subjects of this study include one media expert, one material expert, and twenty-six students of class IV MI Darul Falah Salamkanci. The object of this research is a learning application. The instruments used to assess the quality of the application include a questionnaire for assessing media experts, material experts, and student response questionnaires. The results of this study are (1) the development of Quizizz as a learning medium for Arabic for class IV MI Darul Falah Salamkanci, and (2) the quality of Quizizz as a learning medium for Arabic for class IV MI Darul Falah is included in the category of "Very Good" with an ideal percentage of 89.3% based on the assessment of media experts and an ideal percentage of 86% based on the assessment of material experts, as well as the results of student responses from 26 students with an ideal percentage of 92%.

Abstract

Penggunaan pupuk kimia secara berlebihan berdampak negatif terhadap kesuburan tanah dan kualitas lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran masyarakat Desa Luku dalam memanfaatkan limbah organik menjadi pupuk organik sebagai upaya mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi seminar edukatif dan pelatihan praktik langsung pembuatan pupuk organik yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN UNISA Angkatan LVI Tahun 2025. Seminar berisi materi tentang jenis limbah organik, manfaat pupuk organik, serta tahapan pembuatannya, sedangkan pelatihan dilakukan melalui demonstrasi dan pendampingan langsung menggunakan bahan limbah lokal. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan secara observasional dengan menilai keterlibatan peserta dan kemampuan mereka dalam setiap tahap pembuatan pupuk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah organik menjadi pupuk yang siap diaplikasikan pada lahan pertanian. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong efisiensi biaya produksi pertanian, mengurangi limbah organik rumah tangga, serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan lingkungan. Program ini terbukti efektif dalam mendukung kemandirian masyarakat dan penerapan konsep pertanian berkelanjutan di Desa Luku.

Abstract

Purpose – This study comparatively examines the implementation of an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum in Arabic Language Education programs at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, focusing on constructive alignment among curriculum components and implementation dynamics across different institutional contexts. Method/design/approach – A qualitative multiple case study design was employed, with Arabic Language Education programs as the units of analysis. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using thematic analysis with source and method triangulation. Findings – The findings indicate that both programs have adopted OBE principles in the formulation of program learning outcomes, course learning outcomes, course plans, and assessment practices. However, distinct implementation patterns were identified. UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta applies an academic–reflective approach grounded in scholarly culture and lecturer collaboration, whereas Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta adopts a systemic–digital approach supported by the SIM-OBE system for monitoring learning outcomes. Digital systems enhance traceability and evaluation of learning outcomes, although consistent constructive alignment across outcomes, learning strategies, and assessment remains a challenge in both institutions. Lecturer workload and administrative complexity emerged as key constraints affecting classroom-level implementation. Implikasi/batasan penelitian – This study contributes theoretically by offering a comparative perspective on OBE implementation in Islamic higher education, emphasizing the integration of academic–reflective and systemic–digital approaches. Practically, the findings inform program managers in developing sustainable strategies for strengthening OBE implementation. The study is limited to two institutional cases, which may restrict broader generalization Originality/value - By integrating constructive alignment with institutional context analysis, the study enriches the discourse on outcome-based curriculum development in Islamic higher education.
