Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh beban kerja fisik dan risiko kerja terhadap kinerja driver transportasi atau jasa pengiriman di Indonesia. Tujuannya adalah menganalisis hubungan antara konflik peran, target kerja, stres kerja, dan risiko kerja pada driver truk. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan PLS-SEM melalui perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4, data dikumpulkan dari 160 responden di Kalimantan Barat melalui kuesioner daring dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik peran tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap stres kerja dan target kerja, tetapi target kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap stres kerja dan risiko kerja. Stres kerja juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap risiko kerja. Mediasi stres kerja menunjukkan bahwa konflik peran tidak memengaruhi risiko kerja secara signifikan, tetapi target kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap risiko kerja melalui mediasi stres kerja. Studi ini relevan karena menggambarkan tantangan nyata driver truk, menawarkan solusi melalui pengelolaan target kerja untuk mengurangi stres dan risiko, serta memunculkan pertanyaan tentang efektivitas manajemen konflik peran dalam pekerjaan berisiko tinggi.

Abstract

Children living in orphanages in Indonesia still face limitations in obtaining life skills education and economic independence development. The lack of entrepreneurship training from an early age makes them socially and economically vulnerable when they enter their productive years. In response to this issue, the Student Work Study Program (KKM) implemented at the Aisyiyah Tunas Harapan Orphanage was designed to provide training in handicrafts and an introduction to basic marketing concepts. Using a Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) approach, the program involved more than 30 participants from diverse educational backgrounds. Activities were conducted in stages through several sessions, including training in making keychains from beads, product packaging techniques, and simple promotional strategies. The results of the activities showed an increase in participants' understanding of marketing concepts, as well as the development of technical skills and entrepreneurial characteristics such as creativity, cooperation, and self-confidence. These findings demonstrate that participatory learning methods based on hands-on practice are effective in fostering entrepreneurial spirit and economic independence among orphanage children. This program also has the potential to serve as a model for community-based economic empowerment that can be applied to other vulnerable groups in society.

Abstract

Training programs for workers with disabilities are widely promoted to enhance labor market inclusion; however, empirical evidence explaining the mechanisms underlying training effectiveness remains limited, particularly in developing contexts such as Indonesia. This study examines how social support and training transfer motivation influence training effectiveness by integrating the Unified Model of Task-Specific Motivation and the Capability Approach. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted among 106 Indonesian workers with disabilities who had participated in at least one formal training program. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess direct, indirect, and moderating effects. The results indicate that social support does not directly influence training effectiveness but significantly enhances training transfer motivation, which in turn positively affects training effectiveness and fully mediates the relationship. Transfer design does not significantly moderate the proposed relationships. These findings suggest that training effectiveness among workers with disabilities is primarily driven by motivational mechanisms that transform contextual support into sustained work application. The study contributes to disability-inclusive HRM literature by highlighting transfer motivation as a central explanatory mechanism for effective training outcomes.

Abstract

Employee retention remains a critical challenge for Islamic-based organizations, where value congruence and ethical climate strongly influence employee attitudes. Drawing on Social Exchange Theory, this study aims to examine the effect of Islamic Job Satisfaction on Intention to Leave, with Organizational Commitment as a mediator and Islamic Work Ethic as a moderator. A quantitative explanatory survey was conducted among 165 employees in Islamic-based organizations in Indonesia, and data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLSc) in SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that Islamic Job Satisfaction significantly reduces Intention to Leave both directly and indirectly through Organizational Commitment. Organizational Commitment also shows a strong negative effect on Intention to Leave. Furthermore, Islamic Work Ethic moderates the relationships between Islamic Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment and between Organizational Commitment and Intention to Leave by weakening these effects. These findings highlight the crucial role of spiritual and ethical values as internal regulatory mechanisms that strengthen employee retention and provide important managerial implications for sustaining workforce stability in Islamic-based organizations.

Abstract

Dominasi secara demografis serta tingginya tingkat pergantian karyawan Generasi Z di Indonesia, menciptakan peluang pertumbuhan sekaligus ancaman bagi perusahaan atau organisasi. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana Keseimbangan Kerja-Kehidupan dan Kompensasi memengaruhi Niat Pindah Kerja dengan Kepuasan Kerja sebagai mediasi pada Generasi Z di industri stratup. Riset ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif, dan data dikimpulkan melalui kuesioner terhadap 190 karyawan Generasi Z yang dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa WLB dan CS berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap TI, bahwa WLB dan CS juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap JS. JS berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap TI. Selain itu JS terbukti secara parsial memedasi hubungan antara bahwa WLB dan CS terhadap TI. Penelitian ini harapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi praktis dengan membantu perusahaan dalam merancang kebijakan SDM yang lebih baik agar dapat mempertahankan karyawan Gen Z dengan memberikan kebijakan yang jelas terkait Keseimbangan Kerja-Kehidupan (WLB) dan aturan Kompensasi (CS) yang layak dengan kontribusi yang karyawan berikan. Secara teoritis bisa memperkaya literatur dan mengembangkan pemahaman tentang peran Kepuasan Kerja (JS) sebagai mediator antara Keseimbangan Kerja-Kehidupan dan Kompensasi terhadap Niat Pindah Kerja (TI) pada konteks karyawan generasi Z.
