Abstract

Research on Hassan Hanafi's political thought focuses on three main aspects. First, the concept of "Leftist Islam," which emphasizes the struggle against social injustice toward the poor and the oppressed, while promoting the principle of equal rights and responsibilities for all citizens. Second, Occidentalism, which refers to a critical study of Western civilization from a comprehensive social perspective, including an analysis of its strengths and weaknesses. Third, the hermeneutical approach, which is a method of interpreting the Qur’an in a modern context. Hassan Hanafi's thought has received mixed responses from Muslim intellectuals some support his ideas, while many others offer critiques. Among the scholars who have examined his ideas are Fazlur Rahman, Mohammed Arkoun, and Nurcholish Madjid, while Kuntowijoyo is among his critics. Despite differing opinions, these do not necessarily diminish the value of Hassan Hanafi’s thought. Some of his ideas remain relevant as sources of inspiration for efforts to rebuild Islamic civilization. This relevance can also be evaluated from the perspective of the Qur’an.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas Pancasila sebagai sistem filsafat yang memiliki kedudukan sentral dalam kehidupan bangsa Indonesia. Pancasila tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai dasar negara dan ideologi bangsa, tetapi juga sebagai pandangan hidup yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai universal bangsa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, yaitu menganalisis literatur terkait filsafat Pancasila, baik yang bersifat normatif, historis, maupun konseptual. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa hakikat Pancasila sebagai sistem filsafat terletak pada susunan sila-silanya yang hierarkis dan saling berhubungan secara organis. Melalui pendekatan filsafat, Pancasila dapat ditelaah dalam tiga aspek pokok, yaitu dasar ontologis, epistemologis, dan aksiologis. Dasar ontologis Pancasila menekankan keberadaan manusia Indonesia sebagai makhluk ciptaan Tuhan yang memiliki dimensi individual sekaligus sosial. Dasar epistemologis menegaskan cara bangsa Indonesia memperoleh kebenaran melalui musyawarah, rasionalitas, dan semangat kebersamaan. Sementara itu, dasar aksiologis Pancasila menekankan nilai-nilai etis yang menjadi pedoman dalam mewujudkan keadilan sosial, persatuan, dan kerakyatan. Dengan demikian, Pancasila sebagai sistem filsafat tidak hanya memiliki fungsi normatif, melainkan juga sebagai pedoman aktual yang relevan dalam menjawab tantangan globalisasi, modernisasi, dan penetrasi ideologi asing. Kajian ini menegaskan bahwa pemahaman filosofis terhadap Pancasila sangat penting dalam membangun karakter bangsa, menjaga identitas nasional, dan memperkuat integrasi sosial di tengah dinamika kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara.

Abstract

Digitalizing religious bureaucracy represents a contemporary manifestation of the state's efforts to achieve public welfare through administrative order. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Marriage Management Information System (SIMKAH) at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) through the lens of Siyasah Dusturiyah (Islamic Constitutional Law). The central question explores how SIMKAH fosters service quality and ensures reliable administrative certainty for prospective brides and grooms. Employing a qualitative method, data were gathered through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with KUA officials. The findings demonstrate that SIMKAH plays a pivotal role in manifesting administrative professionalism (al-itqan wa al-dhabt al-idari), information transparency as a form of power entrustment (al-shafafiyyah wa al-mas’uliyyah), and accessibility of services (taysir al-khidmah) to guarantee legal certainty (al-yaqin al-qanuni). Consequently, marriage documents are not merely administrative requirements but serve as instruments to protect the public by mitigating data discrepancies and maladministration. SIMKAH is proven to have shifted the KUA service paradigm from traditional-clerical patterns toward modern, accountable, and technocratic governance. This study concludes that the digitalization of marriage registration is a fundamental foundation in strengthening the state's function to protect citizens' rights (hifdz al-huquq) in accordance with the principles of justice in Islamic constitutionalism
