Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi kerja dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja anggota kepolisian melalui komitmen organisasi di Kantor Ditlantas Polda Sulsel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan explanatory research dengan metode kuantitatif deskriptif serta dianalisis dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) versi 4.1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi kerja dan pengembangan karir secara langsung mempengaruhi kinerja dan komitmen organisasi, serta komitmen organisasi berperan sebagai mediator. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan kompetensi kerja dan karir untuk meningkatkan kinerja anggota kepolisian, yang pada gilirannya dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan publik. This study aims to analyze the influence of work competence and career development on police officers' performance through organizational commitment at the ofiice of DITLANTAS POLDA SULSEL. This research used quantitative methods. Data were gathered through observation and questionnaires. This research uses an explanatory research approach with descriptive quantitative methods and analyzed with Partial Least Square (PLS) version 4.1. The results indicated that work competence and career development directly affect both performance and organizational commitment, with organizational commitment serving as a mediator. These findings emphasize the importance of enhancing work competence and career development to improve police officers' performance, ultimately leading to better public service quality.
