Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics Number 5 of 2020 concerning Private Electronic System Operators against Article 28F of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia concerning the right to obtain information and how the views of the concept of maslahat in maqashid sharia relate to the implementation of these regulations. This regulation has the main focus of requiring all electronic system operators, both local and foreign, operating in Indonesia to register with the government. If you do not register, the government will terminate access to the electronic system in question. This has been proven a few months ago, where the government has cut off access to several digital platforms that have not registered, such as paypal, yahoo, epic games, steam, DOTA games, CS games, and origin (EA), even though they will be reopened in the future. because it drew a lot of criticism from citizens for the termination of access. So that the implementation of this regulation is still considered less effective. The method used in this study is a literature review and a normative juridical approach to answering problems based on a scientific perspective. The results of this study indicate that there is conformity in the implementation of Minister of Communication and Information Regulation Number 5 of 2020 with the concept of Maqasid Syariah, even though the fulfillment of information rights for citizens has not been fully fulfilled in several aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) at LBH XYZ and Partners, a legal aid organization affiliated with a leading private Islamic university in Indonesia. The LBH is committed to a social mission of providing pro bono legal services to underserved communities, particularly vulnerable groups. By adopting the BMC framework, the organization can map out key operational elements such as customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, and cost structures. The study's findings indicate that the application of BMC enables LBH to enhance its operational effectiveness and efficiency, particularly in identifying and serving the appropriate customer segments and in formulating a value proposition aligned with its social mission. However, challenges such as limited human resources with a deep understanding of BMC and the adaptation of this business model to a non-profit context need to be addressed. With proper training and model adjustments, BMC can be an effective tool for improving the performance of LBH, ensuring sustainability, and creating a more significant impact on society.

Abstract

This research discusses the evaluation of the Sharia Supervisory Board's (DPS) role in the context of Islamic finance in Indonesia through a bibliometric approach. The research focuses on the development of literature related to DPS and its impact on Islamic finance. The rapidly evolving literature in Islamic finance (Siddiqui, 2016; Hasan, 2014) highlights the need for evaluating the role of DPS to ensure its effectiveness (Hasan et al., 2020). The study employs bibliometric methods to identify research trends, main topics, and the impact of literature on DPS. Key references include Siddiqui's work (2016) on the development of Islamic finance in Southeast Asia and Hasan's study (2014) on Sharia governance in Islamic banks. Additionally, Khan (2018) and Kettell (2011) provide indepth insights into Islamic business ethics and the introduction of Islamic finance. Research findings from this analysis reveal literature gaps and affirm the relevance of bibliometric methods in measuring research impact, identifying trends, and addressing literature gaps. The implications support further research development with a focus on underexplored aspects, including regional exploration and cross-country comparisons. Recommendations involve developing alternative evaluation methods, practitioner case studies, and contributions to policy development related to the role of DPS, utilizing specific performance indicators, and exploring technology implementation in the context of Islamic finance. These suggestions are expected to guide future researchers in developing more indepth and relevant studies in this continuously evolving domain.
