Abstract

Photosynthesis is a vital process for plants in converting light energy into chemical energy stored in organic compounds. Light intensity is one of the main factors influencing the efficiency of this process. This study aims to determine the effect of different light intensities on the photosynthesis rate and growth of spinach plants (Amaranthus sp.), which is a C4 plant species.The method used was a quantitative experiment with three light intensity treatments: low (0–10 lux), medium (10–20 lux), and high (>20 lux), each replicated three times over six weeks. Observed parameters included plant height, number and length of leaves, as well as the photosynthesis rate measured using the IRGA method.The results showed that light intensity significantly affected the growth and photosynthesis rate of spinach plants. The high light treatment produced the most optimal growth, with an average plant height of 4.92 ± 0.4 cm and the highest photosynthetic activity. Conversely, the low light treatment caused symptoms of etiolation, reduced vitality, and faster plant death, averaging by the third week.In conclusion, increasing light intensity significantly enhances photosynthesis efficiency and growth in spinach plants. These results can serve as a basis for regulating light intensity in cultivation systems, both conventional and hydroponic.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media based on Genially Hybrid for the topic of the Human Reproductive System in senior high schools, aligned with the 2024 National Curriculum. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, focusing on the development stage. The final product consists of three main media: (1) interactive presentation, (2) digital board game, and (3) “Family 100” game show. Each medium was designed according to Mayer’s Multimedia Principles and Cognitive Learning Theory to enhance students’ engagement and conceptual understanding. The results show that Genially Hybrid media successfully integrates visual, verbal, and interactive components that support both face-to-face and online learning flexibly. These media not only enrich learning experiences but also improve students’ motivation and collaboration in mastering abstract biological concepts. This innovation is expected to serve as an initial model for developing effective and adaptive digital learning media that meet the demands of the Society 5.0 era and the 2024 National Curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengidentifikasi peran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) dalam membentuk etika sosial siswa kelas 12 di MA Miftahul Jinan. Etika sosial  berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik agar mampu berperilaku dan bersikap sesuai dengan nilai-nilai moral yang berlaku di masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru PPKn dan siswa kelas 12. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PPKn berkontribusi besar terhadap pembentukan etika sosial siswa melalui penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila seperti gotong royong, toleransi, tanggung jawab, dan kejujuran. Guru berperan penting sebagai teladan dan fasilitator dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter, sementara lingkungan sekolah mendukung proses tersebut melalui pembiasaan dan budaya positif. Selain itu, penerapan kegiatan kooperatif dan proyek sosial membantu siswa menginternalisasi nilai-nilai moral dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Meskipun demikian, penelitian juga menemukan tantangan seperti pengaruh media sosial dan kurangnya kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya etika sosial. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya berkelanjutan dari pihak sekolah untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila secara kontekstual dalam pembelajaran agar siswa tidak hanya memahami secara teoritis, tetapi juga mampu menerapkannya dalam perilaku nyata di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat
