Abstract

This article explores the importance of spiritual intelligence in the life of Christians in the modern era. Spiritual intelligence, which includes self-awareness, the meaning of life, and the relationship with God, has an important role in guiding individuals through life's challenges and giving deeper meaning to their existence. In the context of an increasingly complex and materialistic society, spiritual intelligence helps Christians to live with integrity, live the teachings of Christ, and strengthen their relationships with God and others. This article highlights various aspects of spiritual intelligence and how its application can improve the quality of life, provide inner peace, and build a strong and harmonious faith community. This research also underlines the importance of education and self-reflection in developing true spiritual intelligence. The crisis of spiritual identity due to the dominance of materialistic values and moral relativism as well as the lack of understanding of the concept of spiritual intelligence (SQ) in the context of Christianity. Through qualitative research methods, the author gives a persuasive exposition in finding the important role of spiritual intelligence for the lives of Christians today. Without neglecting the presence of intellectual and emotional intelligence. This writing provides an understanding of Spiritual intelligence as a major contribution to intellectual and emotional intelligence in the lives of today's Christians. The ultimate goal of writing is not only as an information about spiritual intelligence. But it is more to direct the right perspective so that today's Christians can maximise spiritual intelligence in today's life.

Abstract

ABSTRAC  This study aims to analyze the concept of a suitable partner from a biblical perspective, focusing on biblical interpretation, particularly II Corinthians 6:14–15, and its implications for young Christians in choosing a life partner. The method used is a qualitative study with a literature study approach, through a review of relevant theological and biblical sources. The results indicate that social factors, lack of religious education, family background, and freedom to choose a partner are the main causes of interfaith relationships. The resulting impacts include obstacles to shared worship, conflicts in spiritual values, and the potential for a decline in faith. Based on theological analysis, a suitable partner is understood as a relationship based on shared faith, commitment to loyalty, and love centered on Christ. The role of the family and the church is crucial in forming the foundation of young people's faith so they can build a marriage that glorifies God. Keywords: Suitable Partner, Christian Marriage, Faith, II Corinthians 6:14–15. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konsep pasangan yang sepadan menurut perspektif Alkitab dengan menitikberatkan pada tafsir Alkitab, khususnya II Korintus 6:14–15, serta implikasinya bagi pemuda Kristen dalam memilih pasangan hidup. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur, melalui pengkajian sumber-sumber teologis dan biblika yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pergaulan, kurangnya pendidikan agama, latar belakang keluarga, dan kebebasan memilih pasangan menjadi penyebab utama terjadinya relasi beda iman. Dampak yang ditimbulkan meliputi hambatan ibadah bersama, konflik nilai spiritual, serta potensi kemunduran iman. Berdasarkan analisis teologis, pasangan yang sepadan dipahami sebagai relasi yang dilandasi kesamaan iman, komitmen kesetiaan, dan kasih yang berpusat pada Kristus. Peran keluarga dan gereja sangat krusial dalam membentuk fondasi iman pemuda agar mampu membangun pernikahan yang memuliakan Tuhan. Kata kunci: Pasangan sepadan, Pernikahan Kristen, Iman, II Korintus 6:14–15.
